The Chief Guest is expected to be His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta, President of the Republic of Kenya. The AGTS is a high-level, internationally recognised grain industry conference that brings together business leaders, policymakers and other critical stakeholders from across the African continent and beyond for discussions about key issues and emerging trends in the grain sector on the continent. The Summit provides evidence-based, thought-provoking discussions on the grain sector from national, regional, continental and global viewpoints, thus helping to inform the strategic direction of the African grain sector.

The Summit is an industry-led event, convened for the grain industry by the grain industry. EAGC is offering grain industry stakeholders an opportunity for partnership to host the 8th AGTS through sponsorship. The Summit is the only high-level platform dedicated exclusively to the grain sector in Africa, particularly for stakeholders with a business interest in the Eastern and Southern African grain sector.
