Sponsored by: The PBIS team Poetry Contest ~ In celebration of National Poetry Month in March ~ ~ March 5 th through March 26 th ~ ~All poems are to be submitted to Mr. Carey in room 262 ~ ---Poetry Guidelines--- All grade levels are encouraged to participate. 1 winner will be picked from each grade level. Judging will be based on originality and creativity. Plagiarism will end in disqualification for that student. The ELA vertical team will judge the poems based a 16 point rubric. (see second page). Submissions are to typed and artwork is encouraged with the poem. (creativity) One submission per student. Prizes include : - A Lunch for the winners All school appropriate poems will be posted around the school.
