---Poetry Guidelines---• All grade levels are encouraged to participate. 1 winner will be picked from each grade

level. • Judging will be based on originality and creativity. Plagiarism will end in disqualification

for that student.• The ELA vertical team will judge the poems based a 16 point rubric. (see second page).• Submissions are to typed and artwork is encouraged with the poem. (creativity)• One submission per student.• Prizes include: - • A Lunch for the winners • All school appropriate poems will be posted around the school. • Some submissions will be read on the morning announcements.
