Friday, October 6th through Sunday, October 8th. The event will be held at the Hilton Parsippany, One Hilton Court,

Parsippany, NJ 07054.

Our Annual Convention is regarded as the event of the year for those engaged in civil rights advocacy and ensuring equality

for all Americans. It provides us an opportunity to recommit to safeguarding the political, educational, social and economic

equality for all Americans. It brings together some of New Jersey’s leading intellectuals, educators, community advocates,

political leaders, corporate leaders, religious leaders and those interested in civil and human rights. The Convention will sup-

port serious dialog by presenting important speakers and a series of workshops and forums on subjects such as health, edu-

cation, housing and criminal justice and will assist us in advancing a state and national dialogue on advocacy and social jus-

tice issues. The Convention will complement these discussions with a series of entertainment events.

Founded in 1909, the NAACP is the nation’s oldest and largest civil rights organization. Our New Jersey State NAACP has 41

local units/branches, a prison unit, along with 15 Youth Councils, 9 College Chapters and 2 High School Chapters, who

continue to volunteer their time throughout New Jersey.

What Are the Key Cut-Off Dates? August 31, 2017: Early Bird Conference Registration Ends September 2, 2017: Request for Conference Registration Refunds Ends October 1, 2017: Pre-Registration Deadline. After this date, you must register Onsite. September 13, 2017: Last day to secure a hotel room at the conference rate.

What Are the Cancellation Policies? Conference: Requests for conference refunds must be submitted in writing via registered mail to: NAACP New Jersey State Conference Attn: LaTanya Nelson, Treasurer, 4326 Harbor Beach BLVD. Brigantine, NJ 08203. Requests received after September 2, 2017 will not be granted. An Administrative Fee of $100.00 will be assessed per registration. There will be no exceptions to this policy.
