    The Ironheart Race Series consists of multi-division mile runs, a heart healthfair for the entire family with free CPR and defibrillator (AED) training; fitnesstraining; Good food that is good for your heart; and music to keep you in thegroove! This festival is Free! All are welcome! Communities, individuals,friends and family are all encouraged to get out, run a mile and learn about ahealthy lifestyle!

    IRONHEART OVERVIEW

    The story of IronHeart Racing is founded on individuals who have overcome incredible odds, faced insurmountable adversityand have done what many would view as impossible. Their mission is to inspire others, raise awareness and make people re-think the limits of the human spirit, what it takes to be a hero and identify their legacy.

    Founded by Dave Watkins, Ironheart Racing is a team where anyone with or connected to heartdisease can transform their life in the name of heart health. Now in 40 states and 7 countries,IronHeart Racing competes in over 900 endurance events per year- ranging from 5Ks to Marathons,century rides and Iron-distance triathlons. Through sport, this group strives to raise awareness forCongenital Heart Defects (CHD) and Healthy Heart Living. They hope to inspire others along theway.

    The Ironheart Foundation was created to allow members of Ironheart a way to give back. TheFoundation supports cardiac related charities that cover the life-span (birth through adulthood).All members are encouraged to create fundraising campaigns, and all IronHeart Events will benefitthese charities.

    Ironheart Events is the original One-Mile race series and 4/8 mile run.Designed for all ages, all abilities, and all shapes and sizes. The 4 mileClassic represents the 4 chambers of the heart. The 8 mile represents

    Whats The Deal?

    Sponsors of the Ironheart Classic and Ironheart Mile can choose to be part of the entire 2012 Race Series or one local race. Series sponsors take full advantage of all of theadvertising opportunities with the Ironheart Group.

    Sponsorship of the Ironheart Mile provides an excellent return on investment by providing visibility and an opportunity to demonstrate your organizations interest inpromoting heart healthy living. It is a great way to gain exposure for your product or service with a diverse target audience. The promotion strategy for all areas ofsponsorship will incorporate print, radio and internet advertising, public relations and community outreach with an extensive social media campaign.

    Sponsorship opportunities are available for your companys name and logo to be included on all print advertising, collateral materials, highlighted in media relationsmaterials and events. You will also take pride in knowing that you have contributed in educating people on the #1 cause of death in America heart disease. A percentage ofall proceeds will go to IronHeart Foundation charities http://ironheartfoundation.org.

    The scope of this opportunity is both regional and nationwide. It will reach all facets of communities, ages and demographics. The average participant age is expected to be30 years old. All runners and walkers are encouraged for the Health of it!

    Through advertising, public relations and event presence, the Ironheart Group provides a unique opportunity to: Promote sales of new products or highlight your specialized service to a targeted and interested audience Establish your company as a partner of choice for runners and walkers Raise awareness of your companys position as a supporter of IronHeart Racing/Events Sell your product or gain new clients for your business.

    Sponsorship opportunities can be comprised of monetary and/or in-kind product/service contributions.

    Monetary Contribution: Monetary contributions will be used to cover the expenses of producing the events and productions, anything over will go toward the IronheartFoundation.

    In-Kind Contributions: In-kind contributions consist of goods or services necessary to produce a quality event. The retail value of the in-kind product/service will be matchedto the appropriate sponsorship level. Example of in-kind contributions:

    Newspapers, radio or similar can donate advertising space Video Production services Food and refreshments for participants - water, sport drinks, race food Race equipment - race bibs, race timing chips Rental equipment such as staging, sound system, traffic cones, or other infrastructure for race day

    Sponsorship Benefits

    Sponsors will maximize the return on their investment by combining event-marketing benefits with advertising and media relations. True Hero Events and The IronHeart Group willwork closely with every sponsor to ensure the marketing plan achieves the goals of the sponsoring organizations.

    The IronHeart packages are based on a minimum 6 month marketing campaign that will incorporate a combination of print advertising, posters and community outreach to maximizeattendance and sponsor visibility.

    Radio Advertising

    Local radio station campaign with up to 10 hrs of recorded promotional advertisements.

    Print Advertising.A print advertisement will be placed in local newspapers mentioning the event and key sponsors.

    Online AdvertisingBanner ads and registration forms will be placed on various category-related websites.A comprehensive social media campaign will engage communities, spectators and participants.

    Posters, Event Brochures/Race Registration FormsAn estimated 250 posters will be created by True Hero Events and posted throughout the perspective communities, at least one to three months prior to the event. Approximately1,000 color brochures/registration forms will be printed and distributed to local races and community events, athletic stores and clubs, restaurants, coffee shops, libraries andmore.

    Event Publicity

    As a sponsor of the event, your company will have the opportunity to leverage the race to gain recognition and develop relationships with consumers, potential clients and retailers.Sponsorship visibility will be maximized through a variety of opportunities including collateral materials and public address announcements.Goody Bags provide samples of, coupons for, or announcements regarding your product/service. Race T-Shirtsoften worn during and post-raceare a great opportunity for logovisibility during and after the event.Finally, large sponsor banners are placed at the main soundstage, expo area, along the race course and at the start/finish area.

    Vendor BoothAll sponsors are invited to have a complimentary vendor booth on race day to promote their company and/or product. Sponsors are given premium booth placement.

    A Non-Sponsor who would like to participate with only a vendor booth must pay the required fee to secure a space.

    Public Relations CampaignTargeted media outreach will position The IronHeart Mile as the largest One Mile Race. You have One Heart you can run One Mile. A race for everyone! The campaign will securefeature articles, stories and calendar notices in regional media including print and radio. A grassroots campaign will distribute informational race fliers at various locations and

    events throughout the region.
