The Davies Pumps Classic SPM series pumps are the original self- priming design that has been proven in use for over 50 years. They are a bare shaft pedestal mount pump driven from an external power source with an open impeller and unique self-purging and rapid self-priming design, engineered for years of efficient, reliable, low maintenance service. Cast Iron or Gunmetal Bronze construction for a wide range of applications including agricultural, commercial, industrial and marine. The SP series pumps have a semi open impeller and replaceable wear plate to allow pumping of small soft solids without blocking. The pump casing design retains enough water in the casing to self-prime and purge suction line when started but a foot valve and strainer are recommended. Pump Features • Solid cast impeller, casing and housing. • Gunmetal (corrosion resistant) or Cast Iron impeller. • Superior Self Priming. • Compact back pull-out design with front inspection plate. • Sealed bearings for low maintenance and long wearing. • Maximum liquid temp 110 degrees. • Manufactured in New Zealand.
