Spiritual wellness is about finding meaning in life events, demonstratingindividual purpose and living a life that reflects your values. It involves strivingfor balance between your values, beliefs, feelings and actions. Being spiritually

well also mean knowing which resources to use to cope with issues that come upin everyday life. Your spiritual wellness practices are those that help you find

wholeness, meaning and resilience, whether those practices are grounded in aparticular religious tradition or not.

WHAT ARE YOUR RITUALS?We all have habits and patterns of some sort. But what about rituals? Whetherthey are grounded in a specific community and tradition or developed fromindividual creativity rituals can help ground us and remind us of what we hold asimportant. Rituals often include physical elements that draw our minds back toour values and beliefs each time we interact with those elements. Considerincluding ritual in your daily routine – it can be something as brief as pausing fora deep breath before getting out of bed or writing down a prayer of gratitudeor hope each day at sunset. Check out ORSL programming or come by for opendiscussion times to learn about more.
