SPINE project was developed in 3 main phases Sharing of the state of the art on embedding
energetic efficiency and renewable sourcesmeasures in the planning of historic centresdevelopment/rehabilitation from the regulatory,procedural and technical point of view;
Preparation of proposals and guidelines forplanning and implementing such measures in aparticipative and structured way; identificationof concrete pilot projects;
Implementation pilot actions, capacity building,dissemination campaigns and targeted seminarsfor relevant public authorities.

The project is oriented on capacity building of local organization,
financial sustainability is guaranteed by their budget
Sponsorship, PPPs and contributions from the building material and
renewable energy sources technology producers and installers
Local authorities would propose regulatory modifications to

within their organization and spread at different levels
