Designed for daily use in the workplace, maintenance absorbents can be used with oils (hydrocarbons), coolants,cutting fluid, mild solvents and water. OIL SELECTIVE ABSORBENTSOil selective absorbents naturally absorb hydrocarbons and repel water making them the ideal solution for dealingwith oil spills that occur outdoors when it’s raining or for removing oil from the surface of water. They can of course be used indoor to deal with oil spills, leaks, drips and overspray.

Spill kits should be located both at and close-by liquid storage areas and should be supported by kits held remotelyfrom the storage area in case it is not possible to access some or all of them because of the spread of the spill. Itis also recommended that spill kits are made available at delivery areas and on vehicles transporting liquids ontoand around a site.

Oil selective spill kits are designed for use on spills of hydrocarbons (oil, fuel oil, petrol, diesel, vegetable oil etc.)both indoors and out. They are ideal for responding to oil spill on water or when it is raining as they will naturallyrepel the water and only absorb the hydrocarbons.
