Weekly Bulletin Issue 108. June 28 th 2014 Dance with “Mr Darcy” tomorrow Night If you would like to experience dancing from a more romantic era, we’ve a real treat for you tomorrow. Back in the days of Pride and Prejudice, the dance floor was one of the few places where the upper classes could flirt and therefore the stage for a whole new world of glamour and social etiquette. Have fun as we are transported to that world. Book your best carriage and head for Lichfield! See HERE “Open the double doors, there’s a Dragon, Swan & Peacock coming through!” One of the great pleasures as your Coordinator is being on door duty for a huge fancy dress party. Well, last Saturday night at Center Parcs was just such an opportunity! The theme was “Carnival” and the thought and effort that had gone into some of the costumes was quite mind boggling. You can always rely on our members to step up to a challenge and bring a real sense of theatre to these big occasions. This Saturday I am looking forward to finding out how the members interpret the addition of “masked” to our Summer Ball. As ever, I am sure the members will rise to the challenge of such a special Spice occasion. Mark Phillips is passionate about introducing Spice to a different type of walking that squeezes the maximum fitness benefits and weight loss potential out of every step. It’s called Nordic Walking and you do it with walking poles. We’re really concentrating on it’s fitness and weight loss potential for those who already love walking in Spice. Mark has rolled out taster sessions over the in several locations. So if you want to enjoy some sociable walking this Summer whilst also getting a brilliant workout, then click HERE to discover more.
