Weekly Bulletin Issue 103. May 22 nd 2014 Morzine to Host our 2015 Ski Trip Yes, against strong competition, the wonderful French resort of Morzine has won through as the venue for our very own 2015 Ski Trip. This will also be the first “Spice Midlands” branded Ski Trip as we have invited members of Spice East Midlands to join in the fun with us this time. We have our own luxurious chalet with hot tub, steam room and a great hospitality team. But it’s the range of excellent skiing for all levels (including beginners) that’s the biggest reason to join us. These trips have a great reputation for fun and friendship and there’s an early booking rate on offer to the first 16 who get their deposit in. Check out all the details HERE Back from the Jaws of Vampires! It was a real privilege to take a lovely group of Spice members to Bucharest & Transylvania last weekend. We had a lot of fun and saw some amazing sights including historic castles and palaces as well as the fascinating remnants of Romania’s period of megalomaniac communist dictatorship. My expectations of Transylvania had been rather coloured by Dracula films and The Rocky Horror Show! So I was a little disappointed to find neither Count Dracula or any of the “sweet transvestites” home when we visited Bran Castle! However, it was a great trip and a great way to get to know a small, likeminded group of Spice members really well and share a lot of laughter. I do hope to see you on one and share the discovery of a new part of the world and a new group of friends. Back from the Jaws of Vampires!
