Nuts Spensall has access to large inventories of nuts in grades 2H and 2HM up to 3 inch diameter. Spensall can also supply Grade 8 and alloy nuts, spherical face nuts and nuts with tommy bar holes. Spensall has in-house capabilities for manufacturing specialty nuts to customer designs and drawings i.e. cap nuts.

Special Machined Fasteners Spensall has in-house capabilities to manufacture specialty fasteners from all material grades. This capability includes profiles and tight tolerance faces on large fasteners used in petro-chemical applications such as stay rods and specialist pump applications.

PRECISION CNC MACHINING

Spensall specialises in the machining of complex parts for the global offshore oil & gas industry. Spensall machinists are highly experienced in machining a variety of materials with an emphasis on Inconel, Monel, Super Duplex, Heat & Creep resistant steels and other exotic materials as well as the more basic LAS and CRAs. Parts can be produced from various sections such as flat bar, square bar, angled bar, hexagon bar and round bar up to 500mm diameter in varying lengths.

Employing the principles of Lean Manufacturing and our continuous improvement program are at the very centre of our culture, with many of our senior operations staff attaining green belt and black belt six sigma status. The training of all our staff to a minimum of yellow belt status is an ongoing process.

One of our key objectives is to manufacture precision machined parts with zero defects and attain

100% first passed yield. We completely understand the importance of delivering quality components to our customer together with the correct documentation packages, by an agreed delivery date. To help us achieve this objective we employ

Sage 1000 as our ERP system.

Complex Turned PartsSpensall has late model, close tolerance CNC lathes that can accommodate up to 500mm diameter over varying lengths. Spensall’s staff of machinists and programmers are experienced in manufacturing complex parts for the oil & gas, chemical, petro-chemical, valve, pump, industrial, marine, power generation, medical, defence, nuclear, renewables, construction, motor sport, heavy earthmoving equipment and transportation industries. Complex Milled Parts Spensall has 4-Axis milling capability in the form of VMC machine tools and CNC turning with live tooling. Our staff are experienced and capable of complex profile milling in materials ranging from high carbon steel to all grades of stainless steels and exotic steels.
