Canine Water Sports — SkillsSwim motivation and conditioning, water safety, swim equipment, rules, 100 fun challenges in two levels (Shoreline Skills & Mariner Dog Tasks); merits, certificates and titles; discussion and demonstrations of Shoreline Skills test behaviors, including: team swim patterns with your dog; water platforms as targets for go-outs, recalls, tows, retrieve, transfer and delivery skills; canine navigation patterns, such as figure-8s, weaving, looping, and corner turns, around water markers and swimmers; and, Nautical Nosework — finding submerged and surface scent sources.

With Watersports Judges Deborah Lee Miller-Riley and Jackie Pariseault and Trainer & YiPPI President Lil Clark; demos by YiPPI members and their dogs.

Participation Agreement

Please register me as a Without-a-Dog Auditor for this Canine Water Sports Skills. I will not be bringing my dogs. I understand my fee is non-refundable — all fees support Yankee Paw Paddlers, Inc., a not-for-profit group.

I agree to hold harmless Yankee Paw Paddlers Inc., Canine Water Sports, Deborah Lee Miller-Riley, Richard and Julie Kraus, their agents, instructors, employees, officers, heirs, assigns, children, and animals (collectively the “Officials”), from and against any and all liability, including death, as well as any and all losses, theft, and or damages, including legal fees and expenses, whether to person, animals or property caused or alleged to have been caused during this educational program held by the Officials, and I further agree to assume the risk thereof.

I hereby agree to indemnify the aforementioned parties for any and all liability, including death, as well as any and all losses, theft, and or damages, including legal fees and expenses, whether to person, animal, or property arising out of or in consequence of my participation in any activity held by the Officials, howsoever such injuries, death or damage to property may be caused, and whether or not the same may have been caused or may be alleged to have been caused by negligence of the Officials.
