System Board Art. Nr. 020The System Board is designed for logic, measurement, control and automation practi-cal. The sections of the System Board: The Input block is the subsystem, which gathers data from the environ-ment and conditions the signal for processing. The signal comes from a sensor in the case of a mea-suring or control system, or a keyboard in the case of a computer system. The Processing block is the subsystem, which sys-tematically processes the signal to achieve a spe-cific system goal. The Output block is the subsystem, which presents the processed data in a form useful for the user (measurement system) or on the basis of the sig-nals carries out and action (control system).The Extra components block is the subsystem, which consists of 4 bit AD converter and connection to the computer.

Resonance kit Art. Nr. 060The Resonance Kit is a set for measurement and control ac-tivities around the Resonance concept. The kit consists of an adjustable base, a plastic tube, a movable coil, a movable force sensor holder, a spring, a spring holder, a magnet. In-stead of a metal rod a Force sensor (not included in the kit) for measuring spring oscillations can be used. The

measurements of induced emf due to the periodic motion of a magnet, placed in the holder attached to the spring, can be done. The current carried through the coil can be controlled (turn on and off) through outputs of the CoachLab II interface and the influence on the magnet hanging on the spring can be observed.

CMA sensors with BT (British Telecom) connectors can be directly connected to CMA interfaces with analog BT inputs such as €Lab, CLAB, CoachLab II+ and VinciLab. These sensors are automatically recognized by these interfaces.

Low g Accelerometer Art. Nr. BT10iThe Low g Accelerome-ter can be used to study accelerations in one-di-mensional motions. The sensor cable (BT – IEEE1394) is not deliv-ered with the sensor and has to be purchased separate. Range: -5 g and 5 g Resolution (12 bit): 0.005 g

Angle Sensor Art. Nr. 013iThe Angle sensor is a potentiometer, which has a pulley to attach a string to. The sensor is suitable for detecting angle changes and (small) displacements. The Blood Pressure sensor is used to mea-sure systemic arterial blood pressure. The sensor measures differential pressure and uses the pressure transducer, which has a membrane that flexes as pressure changes. ML Sensors

ML sensors are modern, I2C digital sensors, which convert measured quantity values to digital values (AD converter on board). They are compact and use 5-pins mini jack plugs. ML sensors can be connected only to CMA MoLab data-logger. Sensor cables needed to connect sen-sors to an interface are not supplied with sensors, they are supplied with MoLab interfaces.
