Overview This Laminar Flow Calculator Model LFC-200 is a flow calculator designed for the LFE series of Laminar Air Flow meter. This product contains a differential pressure gauge, an absolute pressure gauge and a thermometer, you can calculate easily both volumetric flow rate and mass flow rate after connecting this product to laminar element of LFE series. Adopting with a superior pressure gauge in high accuracy and long-term stability, it provides flow rate accuracy FS+-1.0%.

Usable on all of the laminar elements of LFE series. Analog and Serial (RS-232C) communication output is standard
equipment.
Reliable flow rate accuracy
Guarantee of flow rate accuracy You can easily calculate the flow rate in laminar flow meter. However, if you calculate the flow
rate by pressure gauge and thermometer which you select, it is not easy to confirm the flow rate accuracy. Combination with Sokken LFE + this Sokken Model LFE-200, it guarantees the flow rate accuracy FS+-1.0%.
With an easy connection enables to output a volumetric flow and a mass flow rates
Connecting the two pressure leads between the flow meter and this product, and attaching a thermometer (thermocouple) to flow meter inlet. It is ready for measurement by inputting the inherent flow coefficient on a touch panel screen.
Since this product contains a differential pressure gauge, an absolute pressure gauge and a thermometer, it is able to output the following flow rates; actual volumetric flow rate (volume at the inlet of flow meter under inlet pressure and temperature), standard volume flow rate (volume at 20℃ and 1 atom) and mass flow rate.

Applicable to all the model of LFE series This product is applicable to all of the LFE series of
laminar air flow meter. Therefore the product can use in different flow size (rated flow rate) of flow meters. In details of LFE series, please refer to the LFE series catalogue.
Selected sensors for accuracy and stability
Adapting a superior pressure sensor in accuracy and long-term stability, it fully utilizes the flow range of laminar air flow meter.
Thermo sensor is an easy-to-handle sheath thermocouple with diameter 1mm and it can quickly response to a temperature change of the air.
Display and Output
Selectable flow rate unit on a screen display You can set any flow rate unit in spite of which
flow meter to use thus it is able to display the flow rate at the most suitable for user’s application unit. It adjust automatically the position of decimal point based on an inputted laminar coefficient, you can effectively utilize the number of digits. Analog output with first order lag filter
Analog output flow rate (0-10V) has a function of digital first–order lag filter. You can set any output scaling and filter time constant.
Multifunctional serial communication If you use the standard equipped Serial
(RS-232C) communication, you can operate the acquisition of flow data and setting change through computers. Data acquired through communication includes temperature and pressure in addition to flow rates, you can utilize as a monitor or to record the state of flow.
(The standard of a communication cycle is 200ms. Use the cable length within 15m.)
Option
Indicator separation type
This option includes separated touch panel indicator from the main device, and 15m length cable is connecting the main device and indicator.
Adopting narrow path cable of approximately 7mm outside diameter, it’s easy to handle. You can use it in an engine laboratory at your ease as the coating is oil proof.
In this indicator separation type, an analog output terminal is equipped to the indicator.
Ethernet output communication
Ethernet communication is very useful if it has no serial terminal on a PC. You can set any IP address. If this product is connecting to network, it is able to acquire the data or to operate from long-distance remote. Ethernet communication command is the same as the Serial communication. (Communication period at one to one connection with PC is approx. 200ms. You cannot use an Ethernet communication and a serial
communication simultaneously.)
