The same hard, abrasive resistant coating allows for extended run lengths in arduous wellbore conditions. The Cuttings Bed Impeller (CBI TM ) tool reduces torque and drag by removing cuttings that settle out on the low side of the wellbore and reduce the wellbore coefficient of friction. The CBI tool is ideal for long tangent sections with angles in excess of 40°. The CBI tool can restore circulation, increase power to the bit, increase rate of penetration (ROP) and extend the reach of high step-out wells. Chevron blades scoop cuttings from the low side to the upper side, where higher fluid velocity flushes cuttings back up the annulus. The chevron blades also bend and shape the fluid flow, creating turbulence to enhance cleaning. Reduces wear on drill pipe and rotating equipment. Reduces frequency of twists-off and stuck pipe.
