M&D Commercial is pleased to offer this opportunity to acquire an indulgent high end dessert chain, operating under two brands. The Houston concept offers magical desserts, baked goods, hot and cold drinks and rolled ice cream. In addition to the owned Houston location, the opportunity includes franchise rights to two existing franchised locations in the DFW Market, which focus on Thai inspired rolled ice cream. These unique concepts are highly profitable social media darlings whose openings have been covered by local television stations and are consistently voted Top 10 ice cream & dessert destinations in both markets. Customers lined up for these unique indulgences is a common occurrence.

The Houston location is corporately owned and the two DFW locations are on franchise agreements. Along with strong and growing cash flow there is enormous growth potential by expanding franchise locations for both concepts, for which there is immense interest in multiple markets.

The owner and his wife discovered rolled ice cream while on a trip to Thailand as crowds were gathered around the vendors selling it in the marketplace. Enthralled with the product they decided to bring the concept to DFW in 2015, Dallas’ first rolled ice cream shop. The concept an immediate success with lines out the door and customers waiting hours to get this unique treat! Very quickly the owner had people reaching out to him wanting to open a franchise locations. Due to the high demand the owner started granting franchises. There is constant interest from potential franchisees.

In March 2019 the owners opened and expanded concept adding unique and magical desserts, baked goods, hot and cold drinks in addition to rolled ice cream. Once again the store was an immediate success, and again there were adults and children lined up around the corner, even drawing the attention of local news stations.

While the brands have consistently been very profitable, the current owner’s main business focus has shifted to real estate development, not running a dessert brand, and the stores have been operating without on-site leadership while still maintaining healthy cash flow. Because this has not been their main focus, there is huge untapped growth potential for an involved owner/franchisor that can take the current success and grow it to it’s full potential!
