Using databases to find articles

http://www.lib.ku.edu
Lets go to the General Education Resources guide
Too specific search.
Make search simple.
If you didn’t get any articles, then you would “Request a copy from Interlibrary Loan”
Try another Database: ERIC
Older Titles
than PsycInfo
Change databases if you don’t find what you want in one database.
Cited by ?Citations in article?
Let’s try Google Scholar !
What if the library does not have a copy of an article I need?
For example, can you get this article for me:Parental bonding in the treatment of Autistic behavior that is published in the journal Ethology and Sociobiology, 1991 vol 12 issue 1
I tried Get at KU and the article wasn’t found.
What to do if “Get at KU” doesn’t get it?
This takes you to
Web Retrieve
Use
Web RetrieveIf you can’t find an article or book

This is the bound volume I want to request from library.
This requested book will be sent from the Lawrence campus to Edwards Campus in your name. Pick it up at our library after you receive an email telling you it is here. This usually takes one to two days! Don’t forget your Photo ID so you can check the book out.
