Last year we received a unique ‘Special Achievement’ award, created especially for the 25th year celebrations convention hosted by Signs Express head office and held at The Nottingham Belfry Hotel and Spa in November.

The award, created specifically for the futuristic themed convention, recognises the monumental achievements we‘ve made as a business over the past year and celebrates our success and hard work. With only half a dozen staff, our busy production unit exceeded expectations and workload turn-around by continued focus and commitment. We’ve recently acquired some substantial new customers, some of whom include; Premier Foods, Curvy Kate, Petchey Holdings Plc, Welwyn & Hatfield Borough Council, Pitney Bowes, Canon UK and Quantum Healthcare.

Established in 1995 Paul and Lynda brought the business in 2008 and strive constantly to provide great quality service and products, aiming to be Harlow’s favoured signs and graphics supplier. We offer an in-house design service and can assist with all your signage needs from initial design through to manufacture, production and final installation.

The Signs Express Convention is an annual event hosted by the UK and Ireland’s leading and largest signs and graphics company and this year was facilitated by well-respected author and public speaker, Robert Craven.

The conventions are always finished with a dinner dance and awards ceremony to recognise the achievements of individual centres. This year’s convention was a particularly relevant celebration as it marked the 25th year anniversary of the franchise business.

Roller City rolls out new look!

Harlow based roofing contractors, Superior Roofing, have been a customer of Signs Express Harlow for a number of years, primarily for installing vehicle graphics and supply of health and safety site signage. When they moved to larger premises within the Sarbir Industrial Estate it was their natural choice to approach us for advice regarding outdoor signs for their new warehouse.

Working with our client’s initial brief we advised as to the most suitable ideas for the building and provided visual interpretations and prices for several options.

By incorporating the distinctive orange crown logo, as well as the company name in stencil cut acrylic, our installation team fitted at high level into brickwork, so the Superior branding is visible to all. Using the same style, stencil cut acrylic lettering continues the theme above the main office entrance. The work was completed whilst Superior Roofing’s managing director Paul Miller was away – upon returning with all signage completed he exclaimed “Sign Gods!”

Premium coffee specialists Pelican Rouge (formerly known as Autobar Group) recently appointed us to carry out the national rebranding for signage at its nine UK depots. Following restructuring in October 2014, the company required all external signage to be replaced with new, depicting the distinctive red pelican logo at sites in Woodford, Dagenham, Epsom, Swindon, Bristol, Stone, Featherstone, Manchester and Sunderland.
