Donna “Iggy” Ignatavicius, MS, RN, CNE, ANEF Known best by nursing faculty and students as “Iggy” for her medical-surgical nursing textbook, Donna taught in pre-licensure education for over 25 years. Through her consulting company, DI Associates, Inc., she has worked with many nursing programs in the U.S. and Canada to help them develop, implement, and evaluate concept- based curricula. Judith W. Herrman, PhD, RN, ANEF, FAAN Judy is a retired Professor at the University of Delaware where she taught in the School of Nursing for 25 years. Judy strongly believes in the power of creative teaching to engage students and ensure effective learning, and has shared her wealth of experience and knowledge in her second edition of Creative Teaching Strategies for the Nurse Educator (2015). Kristin Oneail, MSN, RN Kristin was a key member in curriculum revision and transformation toward a concept-based/QSEN BSN curriculum at Lourdes University in Ohio. She is a Peer Advisor for Giddens’ Concepts of Nursing Practice and an academic consultant for Elsevier. She is also President of OK! Nursing Consultants. Deanne A. Blach, MSN, RN An ideal active learning strategy for conceptual learning, concept maps are a tool that Deanne has created and implemented for more than 15 years. Her innovative maps can be found in multiple nursing textbooks, including the last three editions of Iggy’s Medical-Surgical Nursing: Patient-Centered Collaborative Care and Craven’s Fundamentals of Nursing.
