Please find all the relevant information in this Speaker Booklet that will allow you to enjoy a

successful and convenient stay at dmexco 2012. Further information is also provided in:

You must have already recieved the log-in data together with the speaker registration email in July. Enclosed

please find further information on your slot (times, title, participants) as well as potential further appointments

(executive networking events, dmexco interviews, etc.)

Briefing

In August, all panel or debate participants (not keynote or elevator speech speakers) will be provided with a

written briefing, which includes the potential content of your discussion round.

Since the number of panels and debates has increased again this year, the briefings will be sent out

successively during August. As soon as you receive the briefing, please make sure that you provide your input

and/or feedback to the presenter, who is in charge of collecting this feedback and discussing it with the

participants.

These briefings will contain further instructions for your panel or debate.

Please provide possible presentation material as follows:

Individual Speaker (keynote, elevator speech, intro speech)

Please upload your finalized presentation (pdf /ppt), movies or show cases onto the

dmexco server by September 5, 2012!

Panel speakers, debate Speakers

Practical examples (videos, individual charts, etc.) are welcome tools to visualize your statements and will be

integrated by our production team in a targeted manner.

All material will be saved on one local central PC. The use of own laptops is NOT possible!

We will test all material in advance to provide smooth functioning.

Beamer:

2 x DLP beamers with max. resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels in 4:3 format

PPTs with emedded videos:

Powerpoint presentations that include embedded films, the links should be set as “relative links”. Furthermore, they

should have a hyperlink base. The hyperlink base allows links to be changed faster and globally.

The Powerpoint hyperlink base can be found under: Menu -> File -> Characteristics -> Summary

Format of Videos:

MPEG2, AVI or DVD format.

Internet access: Permanent ADSL , 2.0 Mbit/s line

Microphone & Sound system:

Sound system with neckband microphones & loudspeaker monitors on the stage

The VIP Lounge is located in the Congress Center | Level 1 In your capacity as a speaker you will be granted free access to the VIP Lounge. Here you have the

opportunity to prepare yourself for your presentation undisturbed in sitting areas and small offices. Light

snacks and drinks will make sure that your stay is a pleasant one. The VIP Lounge will be also your

meeting point before you go on stage and you will be picked up here from our speaker service (further

details in the briefing).

The VIP Lounge is the central meeting point for you, the remaining participants and the presenter

30 minutes before your speaker slot

This is where the final briefing will take place and where our speaker hostesses will collect you to bring

you backstage to provide you with a microphone and presentation equipment.
