Go to the Toronto event page and find the ‘Start Time’ tab under the race you are participating in (Sprint, Super, ect). Enter your email address and press ‘find’ to search your time and confirmation barcode.
Note: All racers must run in their assigned heat time. If you have any questions, speak with the Registration volunteers on race day.
Make sure to have your registration barcode (preferably on your mobile device, but can be printed if needed) and bring your photo ID. You’ll need them to pick up your bib and chip.
Don’t forget to bring cash. You will need it at Parking ($15), Bag Check ($5) and to buy food on race day.

EAT/HYDRATE
Make sure you have the proper gear for the weather.
Don’t get stuck in the dark. If you are running a longer distance race, or starting later in the day, don’t forget your headlamp. Wear shoes with good grips! We strongly advise against wearing basketball or tennis shoes.
Pack extra cloths, flip flops, a plastic bag to put your muddy clothes in, and a towel to dry off after rinsing off.

Gates will open at 7:30am on Saturday and Sunday. Plan to arrive at least 90 minutes before your start time. This race location is remote, so make sure you are giving yourself enough time to arrive early for your heat.
Follow the signs to your parking location. Drive cautiously as there will be people walking as you approach the venue. We strongly encourage carpooling. Parking is $15, CASH ONLY.
Proceed to the REGISTRATION TENT with your registration barcode and photo ID to pick up your race day packet.

Interested in signing up on the day of? No problem! Race prices will reflect the current prices found online. Make sure to show up early to get your desired heat time. Note that some heats may sell out. Remember to bring your photo ID.

4.Store your belongings at the Bag Check tent. One of our volunteers will be there to help you. Bag Check is $5/bag, CASH ONLY. Bag check will open at 7:30am each day and close when the last racers picks up their bag.
Our sponsors and Spartan merchandise will sell out during the race weekend. If you see something you want, make sure to get it before it’s gone.

Gear Up! Put on your Spartan headband (you want to look good in your pictures). Loop yellow wristband through the timing chip, attach to wrist.

Sprint and Supers must cross the finish line by 6:00pm.
Any racers remaining on course at these times may be removed from the course for their own safety and will be considered a DNF. This means you will not get a finishing time, medal, or shirt. The race will not count for your Trifecta, and you will not get a refund or a future race credit. Additional course cutoffs may be announced on Race Day and Spartan reserves the right to modify, change cutoffs and remove racers for health and safety issues, or unforeseen events.
You will receive a Chip Timer ($40 value) and yellow wrist strap to record your time and results. Remember to return at the fininsh line to our volunteers. Times will be posted at the Results Tent and on the Spartan website.

1. All Spartan Race Canada race weekends will be host to at least one (1) Elite heat per gender per weekend. Some race weekends will host multiple Elite heats in different distances – Sprint, Super, and / or Beast. There will never be two Elite heats of the same distance eligible for prize money on the same race weekend. Prizing for each Elite heat (one per weekend, per distance) will be a Spartan Race custom wooden plaque as well as cash and / or merchandise prizing outlined below.

3. Age Group Podium Recognition: Age group athletes will be recognized on the podium at all 2018 Spartan Races. However, only the following three (3) race are National Series, World Qualifier races:Rocky Mountain Trifecta, Kimberly, BC – BeastOttawa Race Weekend in Calabogie, ON – SuperQuebec Race Weekend in Stoneham, QC – Sprint
4. KIDS PODIUM
Prizing will be given to the top three of each gender of the KIDS Elite heat at 9am on KIDS Race Days.
5. PODIUM REQUIREMENTSAll athletes are required to wear their Spartan Race Finishers t-shirt on the podium. If an Elite athlete is wearing any competitive OCR clothing/caps they forfeit their prize money.

In the event of inclement weather such as lightning, tornadoes, hurricanes and the like, Spartan Race reserves the right to eliminate obstacles, select portions of the course, or cancel the event in order to ensure the safety of racers, volunteers and staff.
As always, weather can be unpredictable. Please come prepared for chilly morning and evening temps and possible rainstorms.

The Somersby Cider Garden will be open from 11:00am to 6:00pm – Saturday & Sunday. Have your ID ready - we remind you to drink responsibly.
Food and beverages will be available for sale in our festival area throughout the day. Please bring CASH. Cash will be available at the Spartan Merchandise Trailer if needed.

14. ALL CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES. LEAVING YOUR CHILD UNATTENDED WHILE YOU ARE RACING WILL RESULT IN BEING PULLED OFF THE COURSE AND ASKED TO LEAVE.
No pop-up tents are allowed in the festival. Tent space is reserved for Sponsors.No coolers or glass bottles allowed on property. Security staff will check for them as you enter.
Dogs are not permitted on site.
McFly’s Shoe Donation will be available near the rinse off station. If you want to donate your muddy shoes, make sure you drop it off in the proper area and not on the ground.
If you wear a GoPro, please make sure your contact information (name & phone number) is somewhere on the camera. If you lose the camera on the course, this is the only way we are able to identify it.
You must have ID to check in. Racers ages 14 and older can participate in the adult’s race. Those under 14 are encouraged to join the Kids race.

We advise all racers to read through the Official Spartan Rulebook. Here you will find the rules for every Spartan obstacle!
Stay to your right to allow faster runners to pass. If you want to pass someone, make sure to let them know you are coming on their left. A simple “on your left!” is enough.

You cannot fill your pack up at every water station, conserve your own supply for when you need it most.
If you cannot engage in any obstacle or have a condition which might be impacted by an obstacle, you may choose to complete the 30 burpee penalty instead.
Spartans help each other. If a fellow racer asks for help, help them. If you need help, ask someone.
Respect the volunteers. They are out there for long hours to help enforce the rules and safety standards. Listen to them and help us thank them, it goes a long way.

After crossing the finish line, make sure you grab your finisher tee shirt, refuel with a CLIF Bar and water, then have your finisher photo taken.
Rinse stations will be available, so clean up and get ready to celebrate your victory with your friends, family and fellow Spartan Race finishers.
Your results, photos and post race offers will be emailed to you a couple of days after you cross the finish line. Keep an eye out for them.
