INTRODUCING SPARKOur StoryThe seeds for the idea behind Spark began in 2000

when our managing director, serial entrepreneur

Neil Fogarty sold his business services company,

Mosaic Associates.

For 10 years, he had been involved in building

enterprises through Associates and Partners

with a constant focus on corporate mindset

and so spent almost all of 2000 researching the

psychology of business growth.

In 2001, ‘NM Holland Advisory Services’ launched,

specializing in helping startup and small

enterprises.

Over time, engagements were being delivered

in the UK and the Middle East and, responding

to client requests, the service offering expanded

into a wider context of ‘corporate effectiveness’

which included strategy, culture, performance

and more.

The birth of SparkIn 2011, a consultation exercise with key clients

led to a re-brand of the company and the name

chosen was Spark Global Business.

In 2012, Spark was incorporated in the UK with

regional partnership agreements.

Organizational HealthSince 2001, we have been providing advice,

consultancy and training under what is now

generally referred to as ‘organizational health’:

an organization’s ability to function effectively, to

cope adequately, to change appropriately, and to

grow from within.

To date, we have published two books - both

with a focus on organizational and individual

attitude and mindset and these have formed

the foundation of our products in the areas

of organizational health, collaboration, and

employee engagement.

Spark DNAFrom the beginning, clients have responded to

Spark’s focused and practical approaches that are

still key to how we work today: we only work with

people we like.

We firmly believe that a face-to-face meeting with

a flip-chart and a coffee is still the very best way to

define issues and craft solutions.

We expect at least one action from every meeting

and conversation we undertake.

We look forward to working with you!

We have grown from a startup working at the kitchen table to a multi-office organization engaged by government and corporate customers from as far afield as Qatar to Puerto Rico.

THE SOLUTION MIXAdviceA great deal of our work is about empowerment

and enablement - equipping your key people

to be able to ‘do it themselves’. This is far more

sustainable (and cost-efficient) than consistently

relying on a consultancy to do it all for you.

Spark is able to deliver soundboarding, mentoring,

coaching, masterclasses and keynotes speeches

on core topics as a way to pass our knowledge

and experiences on to you.

ConsultancyThere will be times when spot-consultancy or

project work is a more relevant way to use Spark

and we have experience in a number of areas

including the design build and implementation

of the environment that supports transformation

activities (the ‘ecosystem’).

TrainingEither as part of a wider engagement or as

a standalone solution, Spark has delivered

workshops to over 5,000 business professionals

on such topics as intrapreneurship, public sector

commercialization, collaborative intelligence,

emotional intelligence, leadership development

and more.

Technology

To support our work in innovation &

intrapreneurship, our idea management toolkit

encourages employee participation, collaborative

working (crowdsourcing), and idea tracking.

We work with you to define the most appropriate solution. You could call it ‘customer-centric’ but we prefer to call it ‘common sense’. We focus on legacy - leaving something meaningful behind.

Spark Enterprise & Employability Academy

focuses on social and economic

development through

structured approaches to

enterprise and employability.

The model includes training,

consultancy, technology,

mentoring, incubation, and

We have developed enterprise
