Characteristics Timetables are very different from the rest of Europe The most important meal is lunch There is a huge variety of food to choose from, such as costal and rural There are five meals per day Lunch and dinner are usually spent with the family

Breakfast 7-9 am. Depends on people´s timetable Usuallys it is a sweetsimple meal

Top: cup of hot chocolate with "churros".Left: cup of coffee with muffins.

Mid-morning snack 11-12 am. We usually eat it during the school´s

break. Left: chocolate biscuitsBottom, left: fruitBottom, right: serrano ham sandwich

LunchWe eat it around 2-3pm. First course Second course Dessert

White beans with fat

Bacalao ajoarriero (fish)"Arroz con leche" (rice with milk)

Afternoon snack 5-7 pm. Small meal before dinner

Left: yoghurt Right: chocolate sandwich
