Oceánic: Temperatures are very soft and it rains quite a lot
The sea softens the temperature and provides humidity
It can be found in the North
We can find small rivers, cliffs, meadows, mountains and the sea
There are forests of oaks and beeches.
These are the typical traditional houses that can be seen in the North west of Spain.
They are used to keep the harvest and to keep it away from humidity.
That is why these constructions are not on the ground, but onpillars.
Inner Mediterranean climate:It is the climate of the centre of Spain
It is similar to the continental climate
because of the huge difference between
temperatures in summer(40ºC) and winter(-1OºC)
In summer it is very likely that you see storms. Before the storms, the temperatures are really hot. After them it is still very hot.
Vegetation: rosemary, lavander,
thyme.
Cork oaks and holm oaks are typical of this climate.
A lot of rain and very low temperatures
The purple in the map shows these high mountain climate
areas.
