Avila is one of the oldest cities in Spain, surrounded by very well preserved medieval walls from the XI century, resembles rather an immense castle, and it is the best sample of a fortified city. The city is the birth place of Ste. Therese, source of the Spanish Catholic mysticism. Visit the outskirts of the Cathedral, the Romanesque Basilica of San Vicente, Mayor Square and a brief walk through its old streets to see the Convent of Ste. Therese. The city of Segovia is rich in historical monuments. Old Roman city, still preserves the magnificent Roman Aqueduct from the time of Emperor Augustus. The elegant Cathedral, and its Alcazar fortress, the most spectacular castle in Spain. Both towns, Avila and Segovia, are “Heritage of Mankind cities”.

Day 1. MADRID - ESCORIAL - MEDINA DEL CAMPO - TORDESILLASDeparture from our bus terminal at 08,00 am towards San Lorenzo del Escorial. We will visit the monastery of the Escorial, complex that includes a Royal Palace, a Basilica, a Pantheon, a Library and the Monastery itself. The Royal Palace is the former residence of the Spanish Royal Family and the Basilica is the burial site for Spanish kings. Afterwards we will continue to Medina del Campo where we will find the Castle de la Mota from XV Century. Late in the evening arrival to Tordesillas and accomodations at Parador de Tordesillas.

In the afternoon we will continue our journey to Ciudad Rodrigo, Historical-Artistic complex, famous for its medieval fortified wall built in the 12th Century. We´ll also contemplate the City Hall, its Cathedral, the Cerralbo Chapel and the so-called Palacio de los Castro. Accomodations at Parador de Ciudad Rodrigo.
Day 3. CIUDAD RODRIGO - LA ALBERCA - CACERESBreakfast. Departure to La Alberca, picturesque town of the Sierra de Francia with its original streets and houses. We will visit the Plaza Mayor, its church, the theatre, its bridges and fountains. Aferwards we will continue to Caceres, World Heritage by UNESCO. Its Almohades style walls and its priceless architecture make of this city a perfect picture of the 14th and 15th Centuries. We will walk by the Plaza Mayor and the medieval neighbourhood. Overnight at Parador de Caceres.
Day 4. CACERES - MERIDA - ZAFRABreakfast. Departure to Merida, one of the most brilliant cities of the Roman Empire, situated by the Guadiana River. This archaeological complex was declared World Heritage by UNESCO in 1993. We will visit the Roman Bridge, the Plaza de España, Santa Eulalia Street, the Roman Theatre and the Amphitheatre. Continue to Zafra, also known as Little Seville, is right at the heart of Baja Extremadura. The city was consolidated thanks to its location on the strategic “Via de la Plata”, or the Silver Route, in Roman Hispania. Overnight at Parador de Zafra.
Day 5. ZAFRA - SEVILLA - ARCOS DE LA FRONTERA Breakfast. Departure to Sevilla and guided tour visiting the Park of María Luisa, Plaza de España and the typical Barrio de Santa Cruz. Afterwards we will continue to Arcos de la Frontera, where the route of the white towns begins, it is considered as onw of the most beautiful towns of Spain. Overnight at Parador de Arcos de la Frontera.
Day 6. ARCOS DE LA FRONTERA - GRANADA - JAEN Breakfast. Departure to Granada. Sightseeing tour including the impressive Alhambra with its beautiful Nazari Palaces anf the Generalife. Free time to walk around its streets to admire the old town, the Cathdral, the Zoco, the City Hall, etc...Continue to Jaen, arrival and accomodations at Parador de Jaen.
Day 7. JAEN - CORDOBA - MANZANARES Breakfast and departure to Córdoba. Sightseeing tour visiting its famous Mosque/Cathedral and Jewish Quarter. After the visit continue to Manzanares, important Historical-Artistic Complex and touristic site. Accomodations at Parador de Manzanares.

Day 1. MADRID - SIGÜENZA - OLITEDeparture from our bus terminal at 08:00 am with destination to Siguenza. This lovely city, declared historic-artistic site, is home to an outstanding architectural heritage. Afterwards we will continue our journey to Olite, precious village where you can find the palace of the kings of the Kingdom of Navarra, which was the first Medieval Wonder of Spain. Overnight at Parador de Olite.
Day 2. OLITE - PAMPLONA - VITORIA - ARGOMARIZBreakfast. Departure to Pamplona. Tour of the city, walking through its most important streets, as Paseo de Estafeta (where the bull run of San Fermín takes place) Continuation to Vitoria. Founded towards the end of the 12th century, is today a city of exceptional urban design. The Basque capital has a medieval city centre, in which it is possible to find countless places of great traditional flavour, such as Plaza de la Virgen Blanca and historic buildings like the cathedral of Santa María. From here, the city harmonically unfolds into the Romantic new suburbs, a network of wide avenues, gardens and buildings that are a reminder of the grandeur and stateliness of Vitoria. Day 3. ARGOMARIZ - BILBAO - SANTANDER - CANGAS DE ONISBreakfast and departure to Bilbao. Once we arrive we will visit the Isozaki Towers, the worldwide known Guggenheim Museum, San Mames and the Basilica de Begoña. We will also visit its Cathedral and the old town. Continuation to Santander to visit the lighthouse, La Magdalena gardens and its monumental area with important buildings such us Banco de España, Correos and the Cathedral. Continue to Asturias, arrival and accomodations at Parador de Cangas de Onis.
Day 4. CANGAS DE ONIS - OVIEDO - RIBADEO - VILALBABreakfast and departure towards Oviedo to make a panoramic tour of the city, capital of Asturias. We´ll visit the San Francisco Park, Plaza de América and Plaza de la Escandalera. We will continue our journey to Ribadeo, short panoramic tour of this beautiful city. Arrival to Vilalba and accomodations at Parador de Vilalba.
Day 5. VILALBA - LUGO - SANTO ESTEVOBreakfast. Departure to Lugo. We will visit this important city “between walls” and then continue to Santo Estevo Monastery hidden in the heart of the Ribiera Sacra. Free time to walk around this peaceful parador with special lightening and religious music. Accomodations at Parador Monasterio de Santo Estevo.
Day 6. SANTO ESTEVO - ORENSE - BENAVENTEBreakfast and departure to Orense, the city of water. Eight bridges cross the Miño River, which in roman times was a gold mine. Besides, Orense has a very particular angled Plaza Mayor and an old town rich in churches and chapels. In the evening we will continue our journey towards Benavente, arrival and overnight at Parador de Benavente.
Day 7. BENAVENTE - ÁVILA - MADRIDBreakfast. We will begin our journey to Medina del Campo, where we will contemplate the Castle de la Mota. Continuation to Ávlia, known as the city of Saints and Songs. Birthplace of Saint Teresa of Jesús, this city, that still has its complete medieval wall, has developed to a modern city, always respecting its history. We will visit the most emblematic sites and then continue to Madrid. Arrival and end of the services.

Day 1. COSTA DEL SOL – TANGIER – FEZ (Sunday)Morning departure to Tarifa to board the ferry crossing the Strait of Gibraltar towards Africa. Arrival to Morocco and after customs continuation by motorcoach to the old city of Fes. Dinner and accomodations.
Day 2. FES (Monday)Breakfast in the hotel. Full city tour of Fez including both parts, new and old city. The new city holds the Royal Palace and the 7 big doors, close to them, the jewish quarter. Afterwards, entrance to the old city through the main door of Bab Jeloud, Islam symbol. Long walk along the streets of the most important medina of the world with a thousand of smells and a different tastes. Afternoon free. Dinner and accomodations.

Terms & conditionsTour pricesPrices are per person and include charges for planning and operating the tour. Prices are based on applicable currency exchange rates as of January 15, 2015 and subject to change without notice.
Prices do not includeAirport taxes, porterage service, items of a personal nature such as, but not limited to, passport fees, gratuities to your tour-guide or bus driver, optional tours, laundry, telephone calls, and any other items not specifically listed as included in the itineraries.
Reservations & depositA deposit of minimum 20% of the tour price is required when booking your reservations. Final payment is due minimum 30 days prior to departure. The Tour Operator will not deliver any tour documents until total payment is received.
Escorted motor-coach toursAlthough shown in our itineraries as a single unit of sale, they are the result of combining different components for the convenience of our clients. This means that in some tours you might not have the same guide, bus and companions during the entire itinerary. Transportation is provided by deluxe motor-coach or other conveyance when required. Where applicable, a professional multilingual tour director will accompany tours while travelling by motor-coach. In the unusual event that a group numbers less than 15 persons, the Tour Operator reserves the right to operate the tour in minibus or private car with a bilingual driver. Local visits to monumental cities are explained by an official local guide.
Tour accomodationsHotels are classified by the under the Tourism laws and rules of Spain, Portugal and Morocco. Prices are based on twin bedded rooms with private baths. The Tour Operator cannot be held responsible for hotel over-bookings; should this occur, the Tour Operator will undertake to find similar accomodations in the same or nearby area. If a change becomes necessary for any reason the Tour Operator reserves the right to substitute hotels of similar category. On occasions it may be necessary to substitute a hotel of a lower category, should this
occur, an appropriate refund will be made. Single rooms may occasionally be less comfortable than twins. The Tour Operator will make every effort to provide single rooms but we cannot guarantee. If a single room is not provided where requested, we will refund the supplemental charge.
BaggageBaggage handling in our Tours includes one normal size suitcase per person. Luggage and personal effects are travelling “AT OWNERS RISK” unless insured.
Cancellations, changes and refundsThe Tour Operator reserves the right to cancel any Tour prior to departure for any reason including insufficient number of participants. In the event of such cancellation of a Tour, for which you have received confirmation, you will receive full refund of monies paid. If the Clients cancel their reservations, the Tour Operator will reimburse the total amount of deposit after the cancellation fees have been deducted according to the following:
• Between 45 and 30 days prior to departure - 10% of the Tour
• Between 30 and 15 days prior to departure - 25% of the Tour
• Between 14 and 3 days prior to departure - 40% of the Tour
Less than 48 hours - 50% of the TourDeparture Day or no show - 100% of the TourNO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE FOR UNUSED LAND SERVICES
The Tour Operator has the right to withdraw your membership at any time if your actions impose upon or disturb the other members of the Tour.
Passport and visasIt is suggested that ALL passengers, regardless of the passport they hold, check with the appropriate consulates to determine if any visas are required. The possession of required and valid documents is the sole responsibility of the traveller. The Tour Operator assumes no liability for lack of proper documents.
Travel insuranceWe strongly recommend you purchase comprehensive travel insurance in the event you have to cancel or discontinue your trip.
Airline responsibilityParticipating carriers: The services of any IATAN and ARC carrier may be used in the performance of these tours. The airline participating in this program is not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time passengers are not on board their planes or conveyances.
