Their job...
Clowns Without Frontiers is a Spain-based NGO with an international scope. It was founded in Barcelone in
1993 by artists from a scene arts association. Their main goal is to act on the areas where people
suffer war conflicts or exclusion. They try to help people psychologically. They also want to make the world aware of the situation of the affected countries
and promote solidarity acts
They travel to developing countries,
war areas...
Such as Djibouti, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia...
They also work at hospitals:
As you can see, their main objective is children, who are surely the most affected ones in these
situations. Their vulnerability and innocence makes them even unhappier than, probably
adults. Knowing they have humans rights which are being ignored, they help them by trying to put a smile on their face, by simply singing or
just reading them tales.
