FAITH FORMATION

Memorials

Please remember in your prayers all whose who are suffering and in need of healing. May God bring peace and healing of mind and body to all those in need of His mercy. Also, remember in your prayers all those who have died and their grieving families. May God grant them the fullness of life and love in Heaven.

A Prayer in Honor of the Saints

Almighty, eternal God, You were pleased to make Your Church

grow through the varied splendor of the Saints. As we honor

their memory, may we also follow such shining examples of

virtue on earth and thus obtain merit in Heaven. We ask this

through Christ our Lord, Amen.

St. John the Baptist and all the Saints of Heaven, Pray for us If you have any suspicion about the sexual abuse (or any other type of abuse) of a

minor child by anyone, please contact PA Childline immediately at 1-800-932-0313. If the alleged abuser is functioning in a parish, school or diocesan position as clergy, religious, paid staff or volunteer you are also requested to contact the Bishop’s Delegate for Matters of Sexual Misconduct after you have called the

Childline number and made the report. The Bishop’s Delegate may be reached at 724-837-0901, Ext. 1221.

Around the diocese

Why did God create me? Why am I here?

Where did I come from? Where am I going?

Adult Formation ~~ Discovering Christ

Life is full of questions…….God understands this, even in

Scripture the question is asked of us:

“What are you looking for?” (John 1:38)

The answer should be simple: Jesus Christ and our

relationship with Him. But what does that answer mean?

Two groups of Parish Family members have already taken a

journey of discovery, another group is currently traveling

this path…...we would like to invite you to join us on a

journey to Discover Christ.

Join us for a 7-week experience, January 8 - February

26, 2017 (Sundays) from 5pm to 7:30pm to explore the

questions: What is the meaning of life? Why does Jesus

matter? What does Jesus want us to know? Why do I

need a Savior? Why is the Resurrection important for us?

Who is the Holy Spirit? Why do I need the Church?

You can register by contacting the Parish Office or email at
