4. Arundel (West Sussex) – Black Stallion 3.7% A smooth tasting, lightly hopped dark ale with chocolate and roast aromas. Low hop addition gives a slightly sweeter character.

5. Arundel (West Sussex) – Wild Heaven 5.2% We've teamed up with our friends at the Wild Heaven Brewery in Georgia to brew a classic American Pale Ale using US and Southern Hemisphere hops to produce a hop forward grapefruit led beer with a dry lingering aftertaste.

6. Atlas (Argyll) – Nimbus 5.0% A soft, delicate pale coloured beer inspired by the Kölsch beers of Cologne with the addition of 5% Malted Wheat to the grist.

7. Ayr (\Ayreshire) – Rabbie’s Porter 4.3% Brewed using Challenger & Pioneer Hops from the U.K. with Crystal Chocolate Malts to produce this robust, full bodied Ale. The nose has Roast Coffee, Gingerbread and Chocolate. The palate is of Currant Fruit and Molasses becoming creamier towards the long warming finish. CAMRA CHAMPION BEER OF SCOTLAND RUNNER UP 2016

A strong chestnut ruby Premium ale with an oaky aroma containing sherry and mature fruit. The flavour is warming, fruity and strong. At 6.0% it is considered by CAMRA to be a Barley Wine, but its characteristics are more those of a strong “Winter Warmer” style bitter. Bronze Award S.E. SIBA Brewing Awards 2002

9. Beartown (Cheshire) – Black Bear 5.0%

Award winning dark ruby coloured strong mild ale. Subtle roast and malt flavours fill the taste, completed by a mellow sweetness.

10. Beartown (Cheshire) – Peach Melbear 4.4% This unusual and distinctive beer has a sweet aroma of peaches and elderflower, perfectly balanced by a hoppy bitterness in both the flavour and finish.

11. Bedlam (West Sussex) – IPA 4.8% Packed with four hop and malt varieties, this IPA is brewed traditionally and has great balance and a wonderful rich flavour and aroma.

12. Big Hand (Clwydd) – Bastion Best 4.2% Crisp, balanced best bitter. European and British noble hops create a refreshing, easy drinking beer with a classic finish.

13. Big Hand(Clwydd) – Super Tidy IPA 4.0% A Session IPA. Soft sweet lemon and floral hop aromas are present in this British Style IPA.

14. Binghams (Berkshire) – Macchiato Stout 5.0% Dark stout infused with vanilla and coffee SIBA BRONZE FOR SPECIALITY BEER 2015

Black Cat (East Sussex) – Tzar Imperial Stout 6.8% Produced in small batches and conditioned at the brewery for months, Russian Stout contains real chocolate, generous quantities of roasted malts and a mellow but robust bitterness appropriate for the style. This is the last remaining barrel as the brewery are no longer brewing, enjoy while you can!

16. Blackedge (Lancashire) – Black Porter 4.9% Multi award winning porter deliciously complex, roasted coffee And chocolate flavours with a hint of liquorice and sweet port finish. CAMRA Silver 2017 for speciality beers

18. Black Hole (Staffordshire) – Milky Way 6.0% A pale wheat beer. Honey and banana nose advises the sweet taste but not the sweet, dry spicy finish from this wheat beer.

19. Black Hole (Staffordshire) – Super Nova 4.8% Pure gold. Like marmalade made from Seville oranges and grapefruit, the aroma mimics the sweet start but gives into the hops which deliver a dry lingering bitter finish.

21. Bosuns (Yorkshire) – Maiden Voyage 3.9% A traditional Northern English ale, chestnut brown in colour, gently bittered using Fuggles English hops. SIBA NORTH EAST BRONZE FOR STANDARD BITTER 2013

22. Bradfield (Yorkshire) – Farmers Cherry Beer 4.2% A light on the palate beer with a hint of cherry leaving a dry aftertaste

23. Breakwater (Kent) – Day Breaker 4.3% An oatmeal pale ale, brewed with spring water, Simpson’s Golden Promise, aromatic malts, oatmeal and copious amounts of soft American hops.

24. Brentwood (Essex) – BBC1 1.5% Light brown in colour, loads of flavours bursting on the palate from the mix of Columbus, Chinook, Citra & Cascade hops. Ridiculously drinkable

25. Brentwood (Essex) – Chocolate Orange 6.5% A deep chocolate, malty beer brewed with oranges to give it that extra pazazz and matured to create a classic ‘old ale’ style. Beer of festival at Belgrade, Serbia 2014 & Silver medal at Hungary beer festival 2014

26. Brentwood (Essex) – Maple Mild 3.7% Popular with all who try it, this delicate dark brown mild has just a hint of maple syrup coming through in the finish. 27. Brew Buddies (Kent) – Wokka 4.8% American Pale Ale. A simple grain bill of pale and Vienna malt allow the big resinous and tropical flavours of American Chinook and Mosaic hops to shine.

28. Brewsmith (Lancashire) – IPA 6.0% New world IPA. Rich mouthfeel, big hop aromas, long dry bitter finish. Some residual sweetness.

33. Canterbury Ales (Kent) – Jester 4.6% A single Hop Jester Pale. New wave British hop gives a rich fruity pale with subtle tropical & grapefruit notes.

34. Canterbury Ales (Kent) – Wife of Bath 4.6% An American style crisp, spicy golden bitter with grapefruit and citrus hops and a long dry finish.

35. Cellar Head (East Sussex) – Raspberry Wheat 4.1% A lightly hopped beer with Maris Otter malt and wheat, combined with the addition of fresh handpicked raspberries, gives a pleasant malt flavour with subtle notes of raspberry. Unfined.

36. Cellar Head (East Sussex) – Single Hop 4.6% Maris Otter and Vienna give the light malt base to our monthly changing beer; this pale ale perfectly showcases the individual hop and its unique characteristics. Unfined.

37. Charnwood (Leicestershire) – Vixen 4.0% A well balanced copper-coloured best bitter with subtle hints of honey, spice and hedgerow fruits. Late added Pacific Gem hops deliver a fruity nose and finish.

38. Coach House (Cheshire) – Gingernut Premium 5.0% A pale, lightly coloured beer but of premium strength, with the added kick of a touch of real Jamaican ginger.

39. Coastal (Cornwall) – Hop Monster 3.7% Strikingly hoppy, there are excellent flavours in this thirst-quenching session bitter, with a finish of citrus fruit.

40. Crafty (Surrey) – Hop Tipple IPA 4.2% Maris Otter and Munich malts from Britain and Germany provide a platform from which the Cascade and Chinook hops shine out. Dry hopping adds a bold finish to this thoroughly thirst-quenching golden coloured beer. SIBA GOLD 2017 South East Awards

Delicious and rich, a mid brown, chestnut coloured ale made from Maris Otter barley and the finest English aromatic hops, perfect balance of malty nuttiness and a fresh hoppy aroma. SIBA NE Region silver 2012 & bottle conditioned 2015

42. Dancing Duck (Derbyshire) – Twenty Two 4.3% A wonderfully balanced best bitter with good malty flavour and dark fruit notes, these are offset by a strong hop with a very clean finish. A great thirst quenching beer for any time of the day.

43. Dark Star (West Sussex) – Bock 5.4%

A rich dark brown beer with a rich malt aroma and toasty caramel flavour. It is true to style with delicate hop fruitiness and well balanced bitterness

47. Dorking (Surrey) – Red India 5.0% Red India Ale is a delicious, strong 5% hoppy beer similar to an IPA. The colour of dark cherries, this beer has a fruity sweetness like berry and dried fruits, with a smooth full bodied taste. This ale has a beautifully balanced combination of hop and malt. The Perle hops add a rounded buttery taste, while the Centennial hops add the fruity notes, and the grains add a toasted malty depth.

52. Durham (Co. Durham) – Magnus Pale 3.8% Session Bitter, extremely pale in colour with refreshing crisp hops. Lemon notes add to the freshness. Our best selling beer is the ultimate session drink. Three Magi, One Magus! Gluten free.

53. Elland (Yorkshire) – 1872 porter 6.5% A beer which really needs no introduction. Arguably the most decorated beer in recent British brewing history. A rich, complex, dark ruby porter from an 1872 recipe. It has an old port nose, coffee and bitter chocolate flavours from four malts including finest Maris Otter and English hops. Supreme Champion Beer of Britain 2015 & Three times National Winter Ales Champion.

54. Elland (Yorkshire) – White Prussian 3.9% A crisp, clean and refreshing beer made from lager malt and German hops. A friuity flavour with a floral, spice and citrus aroma from Perle and Mittlefruh hops. Pale straw in colour as the name suggests. The newest addition to the core range due to its popularity when introduced as a seasonal beer.

57. Engineer (East Sussex) – Spiced Pumpkin Ale 6.0%

58. Firebrick (Tyne & Wear) – Trade Star 4.2% Two varieties of New Zealand hops are added at intervals very late during the brewing of this amber pale ale to produce flavours of tropical fruit, lemon, lime and spice.

59. First Chop (Manchester) – AVA 3.5% Hopping with Saaz makes this beer reminiscent of classic continental lager but then comes that big craft ale punch we have all come to love from the Galaxy and Columbus.

61. Franklins (East Sussex) – Conquistador Stout 5.2% Chocolate, Bourbon, Vanilla Stout A rich and intense chocolate stout brewed using the finest organic cacao nibs. We add bourbon vanilla which combined with the oats gives a smooth, sweet stout with a dark chocolate bitterness.

62. Fyne (Argyll) – Jarl 3.8% Light and golden colour with a strong citrus and hop aroma. Citrus and grassy hop flavours dominate the palate with a light and refreshing dry finish. A superbly drinkable beer. Current Champion Beer of Scotland

63. G2 (Kent) – Orion 3.8% Chestnut coloured classic infused with time honoured hops, an amalgamation of malts, creating a parallax of full, mouth-watering flavours, which subtly introduce fresh blasts of mint, rustic malty earthy tones and sun quenched floral lavender scents.

64. Gadds (Kent) – Dogbolter 5.6% A dark porter brewed with six different malts for a satisfying, rich, malty body full of roasty, chocolatey flavours all balanced by a deep and lasting hop bitterness. Beware, this dog does bite!

65. Geeves (Yorkshire) – Renaissance 4.1% This deep red ale is packed with sweet malts giving flavours of dark fruits and molasses whilst a blend of hops brings a diverse array of spicy earthiness, lemon citrus and hints of floral apricot and peach.

66. Godstone (Surrey) – Bitter Entropy 5.3% A smooth ESB (extra special bitter) with a subtle toasted woodland hop character that celebrates classic beer

67. Godstone (Surrey) – Not so Black & White 3.7% The antithesis of black IPA, the inspiration for this brew was a pale milk stout. However, though technically a stout, it defies its definition, rebels and delights. It's deceptively full bodied and carries a complex grain character with a fruity, almost white wine finish. Locals say it tastes somewhere between an amber ale and a milkshake.

70. Great Heck (Yorkshire) – Amish Mash 4.7% Amish Mash is a fusion of European and American beer styles. A German style cloudy wheat beer brewed with wheat malt and German Weizen yeast, hopped with loads of American hops late in the boil and during fermentation. The result combines the estery banana and clove notes of the weizen with the fruity notes of the American IPA style hops. A cloudy beer containing wheat & barley

Great Heck (Yorkshire) – Black Jesus 6.5% Black as the coal mined from beneath the brewery, Black Jesus is a black IPA brewed with biblical quantities of premium American hops and special de-husked German roasted malt. Green Jack (Suffolk) – Baltic Trader 10.0% Baltic Trader is a real heavy weight, Baltic Trader is an extra strong export brewed with molasses and three roasted malts, giving fruity flavours with hints of vanilla and roasted coffee, It's like a rich plum pudding in a glass! 73. Green Jack (Suffolk) – Orange Wheat 4.2% Orange Wheat Beer is a bright golden 'wheat' beer, brewed with 40% wheat malt and a combination of fresh and dry orange peels. Orange Wheat has a restrained zesty citrus flavours from the hops and the peels, balanced with soft sweetness from the wheat malt. 74. Greyhound (West Sussex) – Good Ordinary Bitter 3.8% A classic English style session bitter. Using Warminster Maltings pale malt combined with toasted malts to give this conker brown ale a delicious nutty flavour. English hops add a subtle bitterness making a traditional ale with good rounded flavours and an extra layer of freshness from the addition of dry hops.

75. Gun (East Sussex) – Project Babylon 4.6% A classic American Pale Ale brewed using a combination of very pale malts and American hops. Vibrant, refreshing and zesty on the nose, with citrus notes and a dry finish on the palate. A beer for hop lovers. Unfined, naturally hazy, and suitable for vegans

76. Gun (East Sussex) – Scaramanga 3.9% A refreshing extra pale session ale, brewed using Sussex spring water, extra pale malts and an indecent amount of zesty, floral, oh so delicious hops. Unfined, naturally hazy, and suitable for vegans.

77. Harveys (East Sussex) – Bonfire Boy 5.8% Brewed seasonally for the November 5th celebrations that the bonfire boys and belles of Lewes are renowned for. A dark amber beer with a full malty palate and a, slightly burnt, bitter aftertaste. A small quantity of black malt is used to impart the suggestion of smoke.

79. Hogs Back (Surrey) – A over T 9.0% Brewed in small batches and matured in the brewery cellar like a fine wine. Made from high quality English malted barley, Kent Goldings hops are added for bitterness and aroma and Brambling Cross to further enhance the character, resulting in deep, rich and complex flavours of sultanas, orange peel and plums. Enjoy as you would a fortified wine.

80. Hop Studio (Yorkshire) – Barolo 3.8% American Red Ale. Tropical fruit, ripe oranges and grapefruit aroma. Initial flavours of citrus fruit, and mango precede a clean malty finish.

81. Ilkley (Yorkshire) – Mary Jane 3.5% Multi-award-winning pale ale packed with American hops. Intensely refreshing and satisfying, with surprising balance and body for such a low abv. Mary Jane was named from the character in the Yorkshire folk song On Ilkla Moor Baht'at and is our bestselling beer by a country mile. Hast tha’ been a’cooartin Mary Jane? 82. Kent (Kent) – Session Pale 3.7% A light and hoppy session beer with hints of citrus and elderflower.

83. Kew (London) – Botanic 3.8% As you would expect from the name, there is a little bit of juniper in our deliciously sessionable amber ale. The biscuity, caramel malt body is complemented by a weighty UK Cascade dry-hop, and that subtle citrus tang of juniper.

84. Kew (London) – Chocolate Milk Stout 3.9% Big flavours from our award-winning (Champion Beer of Ealing Beer Festival 2015) low ABV stout containing real organic chocolate and milk sugar (lactose). The combination of four malts, oats, and wheat with a ‘dry hop’ of cacao nibs adds further layers of luxuriantly rich bitter-sweet chocolate to this complex, flavourful stout.

85. Kiln (West Sussex) – Porter 5.6% A Smoked Porter with a combination of 7 malts balanced by a single English hop with a red wine, red fruit aroma tasting of chocolate, coffee and a subtle smokiness creating a well rounded beer with a crisp finish

86. Kissingate (West Sussex) – Mandarina Red 4.8% A red IPA with multiple flavours, layers of malt and prominent citrus fruits. Riotous citrus bitter sweet finish.

87. Knops (East Lothian) – California Common 4.6% This style of beer was first brewed in the Californian gold rush days to slake the thirst of miners. Originally known as Steam Beer it is one of the few styles native to North America. Initial malt sweetness balanced by bitterness, light toffee notes followed by a lingering secondary bitterness hit that is refreshing rather than overwhelming.

88. Lacons (Norfolk) – Affinity 4.8% Full bodied with a chestnut tint, complex passion fruit and lychee tartness leaps forward, followed by a charming balance of fruit and malt. Gold - CAMRA Golden Ale Category 2017

89. Langham (West Sussex) – Saison 3.9% Belgian saison yeast gives an amazing banana/clove nose, a “super” hopped with blend of German malts for fabulous dry finish… plus a lovely creamy head. Unfined Vegan friendly.

90. Larkins (Kent) – Porter 5.2% The local beer with an international reputation! 99. Orkney (Orkney) – Raven 3.8% A Classic Scottish Session ale. Raven Ale dominant malt character is a balance between juicy pale ale malt and a biscuity, toasty malt flavour this give way to a clean spicy orange bitterness. Aromas of orange, lemon and fresh apple.

115. Range (Kent) – Black Ops 4.8% A black IPA at 4.8% ABV it’s not for the faint hearted. This started out as an Autumn special but proved so popular that it’s found it’s way onto our main line up. An oxymoron in name it’s certainly crafted to reveal a paradox. The high ABV might put a lot of people off but it’s surprisingly easy to drink. A sublime modern ale with a smooth coffee like finish it has a smooth mellow silky feel on the tongue belying it’s IBU of 48.2 and it’s jet black shiny finish mirrors it’s SRM of 45.5, it’s always served unfinned so makes it vegan friendly as well.

116. Range (Kent) – Double Tap 4.1% A dark amber coloured beer based on traditional English recipes from Burton-on-Trent, slightly altered to suit the Kent drinkers’ pallet. Well rounded, with a slight nutty taste, featuring Kent hops throughout the schedule, considered by most as a good session beer at 4.1% ABV. This has been described as “dangerously moreish” and doesn’t hang around on bars for long.

Roosters (Yorkshire) – Baby Faced Assassin 6.1% Brewed with 100% Citra hops that create aromas of mango, apricot, grapefruit & mandarin orange, along with a lasting, juicy, tropical fruit bitterness, the Baby-Faced Assassin is a deceptively drinkable India Pale Ale that shouldn’t be taken lightly. 123. Sherfield Village (Hampshire) – TBA 3.9% Our best-selling session bitter. Brewed with multiple hops, added throughout the boil for a well-rounded beer with a good bitter finish. We used a combination of our old favourite hops - English Pilgrim and NZ Green Bullet & Pacific Jade, then chucked in some American Citra at the end to give it an extra kick. Rich for its strength, TBA is a proper modern old-fashioned best bitter.

A combination of American hops and European malt here give the right blend between refreshment and complexity. After you've exited stage left, from whatever it is you may do, you deserve a solid hop hit of Backstage IPA.

125. Siren (Berkshire) – Soundwave 5.6% A west coast IPA: golden, immensely hoppy and alive with grapefruit, peach and mango flavours. Soundwave carries her drinker to the west coast, to the golden shores of California where craft ale is nectar. She is the driest of Siren’s ales – full with flavour but subtle with bitterness.

Yu Lu is an intricate beer with layers of flavour that remain distinctive, yet work in perfect harmony. 139. Wibblers (Essex) – Crafty Stoat 5.3% A truly special brew. Made to a recipe developed by the Durden Park Beer Circle to recreate the Stout brewed by Ushers Brewery back in 1885. Initially made with the assistance of members of the Craft Brewing Association and the UK-Homebrew Digest at the 2007 'Flocculation' With six different types of malt and a huge amount of English Fuggles hops this is a dark and complex beer.

140. Wild (Somerset) – Bibble 4.2% Brewed with Vienna Malt and Oats, an unusual mouth filling malt base. Hopped with beautiful Mosaic hops, renowned for their tropical fruit beauty, helped along with some nice orangey Amarillo hops both at the end of the boil and in the dry hop. It is unfined, so naturally hazy. A moreish bitterness is complimented by tropical fruit tastiness.

141. Windswept (Moray) – APA 5.0% As award winning IPA with smooth malts and a tangy grapefruit finish SIBA National Bronze 2014

142. Windswept (Moray) – Weizen (Wheat) 5.2% A cloudy effervescent hefeweizen bursting with bananas and caramel. Contrary to popular belief no bananas are harmed in the making of Weizen! Banana flavours in beer are caused by a class of chemical compounds called esters, in this case, isoamyl acetate which is produced by the yeast used to ferment the beer. These esters are very evident in Belgian style beers giving pronounced fruity flavours making them deliciously moreish.

143. Windswept (Moray) – Wolf 6.0% A dark Scottish ale and powerful brew named after the Wolf of Badennoch, infamous for burning down Elgin cathedral in 1390. It is the mainstay of our barrel aged Wolf of Glen Moray beers and the Werewolf.

144. Yorkshire Heart – Rhu Bar 3.7% Dark in colour with delicious fruity rhubarb flavours. Got to love living near the Rhubarb triangle!
