Who are SouthSide Youth Soccer (SSYS) and the Dynamo Juniors (DJ)? SSYS are south Lafayette's community soccer club providing recreational soccer activities for children as young as 3 as well as providing various programs for adult

soccer players. SouthSide was established by Kevin Mooney to provide the communities of south Lafayette, and beyond, with access to a quality soccer organization. SSYS are a US Youth Soccer and Louisiana Soccer affiliate club. Dynamo Juniors are the Competitive soccer club that represent the

highest level of soccer players within our organization, Dynamo Juniors players represent the club from ages 9-19 playing at various levels across the state of Louisiana as well as out of state tournaments. Dynamo Juniors are an affiliate of US Club Soccer, US Youth Soccer, Houston Dynamo/MLS as well as Louisiana Youth Soccer.

What do SSYS and DJ offer the community? SSYS gives players of all ages, across our growing communities, an opportunity to access safe, fun and well organized soccer programs. Some of the programs offered:

• Recreational Youth Soccer (ages 3-16) Fall and Spring

• Adult League Soccer

• Indoor Soccer

• Futsal

• 3v3 Soccer Leagues and 3v3 Live Tournaments

• Soccer camps (Summer, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter) Members: Approx. 1300 members (Youth, Adult and camps) Dynamo Juniors offer competitive players the next step in soccer development, providing professional coaching and player development programs that rival all other clubs in the state. The Dynamo Juniors take their name from the affiliation held with the MLS professional team, Houston Dynamo, working with the Houston Dynamo the staff at Dynamo Juniors have sent around 40 players to train with the professional academy, an experience that is second to none for competitive soccer players. Where are SSYS and DJ based? SSYS and DJ operate out of 3 complexes in the south Lafayette area.

SSYS Soccer Complex: This was the first home of SSYS built in 2010 the complex boasts 2 full size fields (fully lit) as well as training area/small sided fields. This complex is maintained by SSYS/DJ staff and board and provides a continuous home for the organization.

Youngsville Sports Complex: Built in 2013 YSC provides SSYS and DJ with 3 full size and fully lit fields for use over the season, for tournaments/events the complex allows full use of the 6 fields making it a hub for SSYS and DJ events. YSC is managed and maintained by YSC Staff. St Julien Park, Broussard: Built in 2016 SJP provides SSYS and DJ with 6 fully lit soccer fields (1 full size turf field), DJ host most of their training sessions and games at this complex allowing SSYS to use YSC and SSYS for practices. SJP is managed and maintained by SJP staff.

Why SSYS and DJ need sponsors?

SSYS are constantly looking for new ways to promote, organize and run soccer programs, with a view to increase participation in one of the fastest growing sports in the US. Dynamo Juniors and SouthSide Youth Soccer are both a 501(c)(3) Non-profit organizations. Sponsorship monies received by SSYS and DJ are set towards:

• Financial Aid Program – this program supports players and families that may not be able to afford the fees associated with organized sports.

• SouthSide Youth Soccer Complex Development – SSYS and DJ continue to manage and develop the SSYS soccer complex. This takes up a lot of time, effort and club funds.

• Marketing and Promotion of soccer programs – help promote soccer in areas and demographics that may not have ordinarily had these services available to them.

• Field Equipment (goals, nets, flags)

• Coaching courses and qualification opportunities

As our Youth program grows we continually develop high level players that choose to live and work around South Lafayette, as a club we want to offer a top to bottom approach so, as the sport of soccer develops here we want to establish a SEMI-PRO level of soccer to our club pyramid. In doing this we add another level of sponsorship opportunities.

Financial Hardship Form

Many of our players struggle to make ends meet in everyday life and now the opportunity to play soccer at a higher level can be more taxing on the players family and income. We have a policy that every kid plays within the Dynamo organization. Due to this policy it puts the club in a situation where we can get over 30 players search for financial assistance, which can be up to $45,000 in loss revenues

The fees to play with the Dynamo programs can be between $1425-$1625 depending on which events the teams may attend. These fees cover:

Southside Youth Soccer and Dynamo Juniors Sponsorship Agreement

This Sponsorship Agreement (“the Agreement”) is entered this the _____________ day of , 20 _______, between SSYS and Dynamo Juniors (“the Club”) and ___________________________________________ (“Sponsor”). 1. Purpose: The purpose of this Agreement is to define the nature and scope of sponsorship benefits to the sponsor and the level of financial support to be provided to the Club by the Sponsor. 2. Term: The initial term of this Agreement shall be _______ year(s), beginning on the ___________ day of __________________, 20_______ , and ending on the ________ day of _________________ , 20______ . Upon written notice to the Club no later than three (3) months prior to the expiration of this Agreement, Sponsor shall have the right to continue the sponsorship at the same level as provided in this Agreement for another identical term. However, the Club reserves the right to renegotiate the cost of such sponsorship and/or any other term of this Agreement, consistent with then---applicable costs and terms to other sponsors or such costs and terms as may be set by the Club. The Club agrees to enter into a new sponsorship agreement in the event that Sponsor elects to renew the sponsorship. 3. Cost and Benefits: The Club reserves the right to adjust the cost of sponsorship at any time. In the event that the cost of sponsorship decreases subsequent to the execution of this Agreement, Sponsor shall receive an equivalent price adjustment on a prospective basis only. 4. Payment: Payments shall be made yearly, commencing on the first (1st) day of the month following this agreement, Or at a time specified between the Club and the Sponsor. 5. Signage: The Club shall acquire, install, and maintain all signage contemplated by this Agreement at its own cost. The Club shall work with Sponsor to achieve a design that is acceptable to both parties, but all decisions concerning design, layout, placement, size, color, and/or style of sponsorship signage shall be left to the sole discretion of the Club. 6. Funds: All funds received from the Sponsor pursuant to this Agreement shall be placed in the Club operational fund and used for, maintaining, operating, and/or marketing, financial aid programs and outreach programs. 7. Unavoidable Circumstances: The Club shall not be responsible to Sponsor for its failure to perform any of the obligations imposed by this agreement if such failure is occasioned by fire, catastrophic weather conditions, strikes, lockouts, shortage of labor or material, riots, war, civil strife, acts of terrorism, governmental laws, restrictions or regulations, or any other occurrence whatsoever that is beyond the control of the Club. 8. Completion: The Clubs obligations under the terms of this Agreement are expressly conditioned upon the successful completion, opening, and continued

operation of the Club. If the Club ceases to operate at any point during the duration of this Agreement, both parties’ obligations hereunder shall be discharged. 9. Hold Harmless: The Sponsor agrees to indemnify and hold the Club harmless for damage to any signage or other document, material, or thing contemplated by this Agreement. 10. Assignment: Sponsor shall not assign this Agreement or the rights provided to it herein to any third party without the express written permission of the Club. 11. Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed, construed and interpreted by, under the laws of the State of Louisiana. 12. Severance: If any provision of this Agreement or the application thereof shall, for any reason and to any extent, be invalid or unenforceable, neither the remainder of this Agreement nor the application of the provision to other persons, entities or circumstances shall be affected thereby, but instead shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law. 13 Entire Agreement: The parties agree that this document contains the entire agreement between the parties and this Agreement shall not be modified, changed, altered or amended in any way except through a written amendment signed by all of the parties hereto. 14. Approval: This Agreement is expressly conditioned upon review and approval of the Agreement by the Club. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have affixed their signatures below.
