MORE REGIONAL REPRESENTATION. THAT’S MORE COOPERATIVE.

Dairy Farmers of America is built around regional representation, regional marketing and regional processing. The Southeast Area is one of seven geographic Areas across the country that helps guide the future of our Cooperative and makes us more efficient.
Members in each of the 16 districts within the Southeast Area elect representatives to serve on the Southeast
Area Council (SEAC). Council members help manage marketing and regional issues. Seven current DFA Board
Directors come from the SEAC.
To ensure every member has a voice, Southeast Area members also elect delegates and resolutions committee
members who address and vote on national issues that affect us all. It’s important for every member to have a
say in the future of our shared Cooperative.
