Since it was established by the UK water industry in 1981, WaterAid and our partners have helped more than 21 million people get safe water and 18 million people access improved toilets. With your continued support we believe everyone, everywhere can have clean water by 2030.
In 2013-14 South Staffs Water raised £36,204 for WaterAid
That’s enough to build 32 school toilets in Zambia
£75 could pay for a school handwashing facility for 30 pupils
Last year we reached 55,000 people in Zambia with improved toilets
More than 8 million are still living without proper sanitation
New taps and toilets at the Chiobola School in Zambia are helping to keep children healthy. And hygiene education classes are teaching students the importance of handwashing for preventing disease.

of £145. This could pay for 9 toilets in Zambia.

Bill inserts:Including WaterAid leaflets in your customer water bills has helped us to raise awareness and reach new supporters.
Since 1995 it has helped us recruit 1,740 new donors, raising an incredible £679,682. That’s enough to help 45,312 people get safe
water. 59% of Tamworth!
