VoluNteerS Needed for two eVeNtStoucHdowN cIty

We are hosting at Touchdown City for the Preseason game against Denver on Thursday August 8th. I am looking for six volunteers to staff our area, the info is below on how many people, when they need to be there and what they will be doing. Send me an email if you wish to volunteer, you must be a member in good standing.

• 2 members/ volunteers need to be at TDC at 3pm. Your name will be on a security check list that must be turned in 5 days prior to game you’re your entrance will be the doors on the SW corner of Oc-cidental Ave S and Royal Brougham Way. Member/volunteer will be required to provide picture ID at the security door.

• THERE WILL BE NO CHILDREN ALLOWED AT THIS TIME.

• 1 of the Member/Volunteer’s will be the LEAD for the day. That person will be in charge of all volun-teers and the tasks that happen while TDC is open. That member/volunteer cannot be going on the field.

• 3-4 Members/Volunteers need to arrive at TDC at 4pm and stay until we clean up and are all ready to go watch a great football game. These members/volunteers will enter with the general public so they should be at the doors around 15 minutes before TDC opens.

• If any of the members/volunteers for TDC also have field passes for the game than you will need another members/volunteer to cover for them, while they are gone.

• Volunteers will help in setting up tables and chairs, filling popcorn containers, signing in members (suggest to your members that they take a screen shot of their membership card as they will be asked for it). Handing out game day books, posters, year books or any other gifts we might have. New mem-bership sign ups, assisting with any special guests that we might have, and being the great ambassa-dors that we are. Don’t forget the dreaded clean up, for those of you going to the games if we all work together, we will get there before kickoff.

Hey everyone, if you are doing any kind of charity work or community service other than what we do as a chapter, please go to the link below and fill out a charity report form. The Sea Hawkers send the Seahawks a report of all of our charitable activity and community service.

This is for individual times and/or donations, like if you volunteer at a food bank or feed the homeless. If you are volunteering as part of a Sea Hawker Chapter hosted event, the Chapter should be reporting all hours/monies for that event.

The Seahawks were number one in the Huddle for 100 for the of June. The total number of minutes includes the Seahawks, their corporate sponsors (Windermere) and the Sea Hawkers, collectively turned in 2,287,600 total minutes!!!

The Seahawks were awarded a $5000 grant!

SeaHawkS Huddle for 100

Huddle for 100 is an NFL initiative that launched at the 2019 NFL Draft and will continue through Super Bowl LIV in Miami. The NFL is celebrating its 100th season and through this NFL100 initiative we will all strive to make meaningful investments in the communities of our fans and inspire the entire NFL family to give back. The goal is to get one million people to give one hundred minutes of their time to community service, totaling 100 million volunteer minutes. All 32 NFL clubs will host huddles throughout the year and the NFL will drive a season-long competition between clubs. Monthly $5,000 grants to be used for a community initative will be awarded to top-ranking clubs based on their volunteer minutes. One $100,000 grant will be awarded at the end of the season to the club with the most participation. The Seahawks are excited to participate in this NFL intiative. We will be hosting our own Huddle for our staff in June. We encourage all 12s, partners, community members, players, coaches and legends to participate in the initative by creating their own Huddles as well. Ways to get involved Personal Huddle – Create your own Huddle for a cause you already support or a cause you want to start backing. Just give 100 minutes of your time to community service. ruSSell wIlSoN PaSSING academyMembers of the Sea Hawkers volunteered for the Russell Wilson Passing Academy on June 15, 2019 in Redmond Washington. They helped set-up, registered campers, handed out tee shirts, filled and handed out backpacks and cleaned up. There were approximately 300 campers attending, and everyone had a great time.
