SFX Management BasicsSFX Terminology - Sources Sources – where the user is coming from, beginning their searchResources that can be the starting point of a link or link sources—for example, an A & I database, a reference in a journal article, or ‐an OPAC record. The most important field in the source list is the SOURCE ID. This field contains information that the SFX program needs about the origin of the SFX request. SOURCE ID is a required field. It is not possible to add a new source without specifying the source ID. Each source is connected to a number of source services. Must be Open-URL enabled
