• South Carolina is one the original thirteen colonies and carolina had been a royal colony, but in 1710 Carolina split into two Carolinas and hence north and south Carolina were born. May 23rd,1788 South Carolina officially became a state

Climate and weather• When going to South Carolina, you should expect a

humid subtropical weather, hot summers, and mild winters.

• One famous figure you should know from history class is a well known politican, John C. Calhoun

•  Now here is one very famous singer,songwriter and musician, he is known as the godfather of soul, He is James Brown

    In conclution South Carolina has many major industries and sevices like: tobacco,military bases, tourist industries.  Oh and lets not forget the awesome, the great godfather of soul, the one and only, James Brown!
