Marketing Communications and Public Relations

• Focuses on the four P's

• Place, with the focus of Florida where there is a large population of South African's

• Price, various issues due to the exchange rate. Often South African's still covert Rand to the Dollar, which intern makes the beer seem expensive although to an American it is not

• Promotion, focuses primarily on Facebook and word of mouth

• Product, offering the most sought after beers within South Africa and Africa, with the possibility of continuing their imports and recently announced plans of acquiring SA wines

• They currently do not have any public relations team, although they are working their way to be known as a family business with the interest of helping those remember home with the slogan "The Taste of Africa"

Advertising• South African Groups i.e.

South African living in Florida

• There are no current advertising strategies , besides those of their retailers

• Facebook has become the main source of buyers, whereas other attempted advertising at events tend to not gain as much results

• These include various events, beer tasting evenings, South African sports days and various family events

Sales Promotions• Free shipping within South Florida

for Castle Lager

• Castle Lager is popular in South Africa, but has proven to be one of the slowest moving products in America. Windhoek and Carling Black Label move much quicker

• There are no plans to offer buy one get one free, or so forth due to this being their first shipment they wish to gain maximum profit with the plan to expand throughout the US

• Retailers have the option once purchasing the beer to promote it as wished. So far they have offered discounts off of their other products in store if you purchase a case (24) beers

• They have yet to create a strong social media presence, yet they will contact the owner directly and not through their page

• Twitter and Instagram accounts are expected to be opened within the month of August, with the plan of creating new content
