Dear Sir or Madam,

We are writing to you as A2 Media Studies students from St Pauls Catholic College to ask for permission to use parts of the track ‘Main Theme’ composed by Gustavo Santaolalla in our A2 coursework soap opera trailer.

We believe this song is ideal for our soap opera trailer and will complement the action in our trailer well. We will be using this song for educational purposes only and will be editing the track to match the scenes in our trailer using a software called Adobe Premiere CS6. Our trailer will be available for viewing on our individual Wordpress blog pages and also Youtube.

We hope to hear back from you soon with your decision and hope you will grant us the chance to use this wonderful track in order to produce a fit for purpose and successful trailer.
