Read the word and then hide it.
Children then have to write the word.

You read the captions. Together you and your child say it over and over again. Then your child tries to write the caption. Help them to sound it out.

Write the words on the next slide out onto slips of paper. Children to read each one and spot the common sound in the word. How is the sound spelt in that word?
