The console is configurable up to 48 mic line inputs and 16 line outputs and includes two 64-channel expansion slots, allowing up to two Stageboxes to be connected. The slots provide access to the extensive range of D21m I/O option cards, addressing all industry-standard audio formats.

Like other ViX000-series consoles, a built-in 64x64-channel Dante interface provides direct recording/playback connection via Ethernet or integration into an existing Dante network.

The Dante interface is complemented by an additional optical MADI interface, designed for either record feeds or to connect the Soundcraft Realtime Rack Plug-in engine, adding the power of Universal Audio UAD-powered plug-ins to the Vi2000’s pristine audio quality.

The package is completed with an ultra-compact frame design, only 1.15m in width, with 16 input faders and 8 output faders, allowing the console to fit into both space- and budget-restricted applications.

Patented features, like FaderGlow, VM2 microphone monitoring and Vistonics, provide a user-friendly mixing experience. JBL Professional introduces VTX M Series stage monitors

SSE Audio Group has supplied two Soundcraft Vi7000 consoles to the 2800-capacity Indigo at

the O2 in London. The Vi7000s replace the two Vi6 consoles which were installed as part of a complete HARMAN audio solution when the venue opened in 2007.

SSE also supplied a Soundcraft Realtime Rack Ultimate package which provides 74 UAD plug-ins. Together with all the dynamics (including the coveted BSS DPR-901 parametric EQ) and eight Lexicon effects processors onboard the

console itself, for the first time production have been able to banish their outboard rack entirely.

Freelance house sound engineer, Matt Valentine, was one of the people involved in specifying the consoles. “The Vi7000 is an incredibly user-friendly desk,” he stated. “For a lot of

inexperienced engineers coming through we provide a ‘three minute overview’ because the desk works in channel strips and it’s so visual … there’s not page after page in the background to trip you up.”> http://bit.ly/indigo-vi7000

Designed with a low profile, the VTX-M Series uses JBL’s proven Neodymium Differential Drive woofers and D2 Dual Diaphragm high frequency drivers,

along with a new high frequency Image Control Waveguide for excellent control and gain before feedback.

The new Frameworks ID Speaker Sub Pole features a compact cylinder

design and includes a Lift-EEZ piston for lift assist and easy one handed CAM operation. It fits traditional sub mounts with an integrated adapter for threaded M20 mounts. The ID Speaker Sub Pole height adjusts from 93 to 145cm with weight capacity of 31kg.

The Frameworks Quick Release Microphone Adapter mounts to any 5/8” threaded microphone stand and en-
