INT. SPIRIT AGENCY - DAY

FADE IN:

The Spirit Agency is an office that is run by a singleperson that takes the jobs of clients that involve anything

regarding the supernatural; for a heavy price. This SpiritAgency is run by an exaggerating and cocky punk that goes byKYLE DEVILSINGER (28). The office is a wreck; dusty anddirty filled with wooden floors and torn off bits ofwallpaper. The whole rooms is filled with differentartifacts and pieces of knowledge that involve the differentjobs hes come across as well as general information orstuff that he has collected to help his investigations. Theoffice is also filled with different instruments that a rockband would use as well as games you would find at bars (airhockey, darts, pool table). Kyle is sitting back in hischair with his feet up on the desk, looking at the clockticking, as though hes waiting for something. The telephone

rings and Kyle answers it.

KYLEHello, youve reached HOT 9-1-1.How may I please you this fineday?

The caller hangs up the phone.

KYLE (CONTD)Geez, cant anyone in this worldtake a joke?

Kyle hears knocking on the door located to the opposite sideof the office. He gets up and walks over to the door with itbeing continuously knocked against.

KYLE (CONTD)Yeah, yeah, Im coming, Im coming.Hold your horses for a second.

INT./EXT. SPIRIT AGENCY - DOORWAY - DAY

Kyle opens the door and looks at the PIZZA MAN (24). Kylestarts getting excited with a wet drooling mouth and smalljogging in place motions with both of his hands rubbingagainst each other.

KYLEOOOOOOO MY PIZZAS HERE!

PIZZA MANYeah, sorry for the wait, sir. Thetraffic was terrible.

KYLEOh yes, definitely terrible. Can Ihave my pizza now?

The pizza man looks at the receipt he has in his hands.

PIZZA MANAn extra large All-Meat-Combo for aKyle Devilsinger?

Kyle settles down.

KYLEYeah, thats me.

PIZZA MANOkay, that will be $25.00.

Kyle gently grabs the pizza while making a quickconversation to the pizza man.

KYLEI placed the money between yourfeet.

INT. SPIRIT AGENCY - DAY

The pizza man looks down between his feet and Kyle closesthe door on him without paying. Kyle slowly walks back tohis desk with the pizza in his hands and the pizza manknocking against the door, yelling out.

KYLENext time you want to get paid fordelivering food to me - dont be anidiot.

Later that day, Kyle is eating his pizza. He has the crustof the pizza lying all over the floor with used napkinsscattered.

KYLE (CONTD)Oh man, would I kill a god for anunlimited amount of this pizza.

Kyle is in the process of taking a last few bites out of hiscurrent slice. He takes his last bites, leaving only thecrust in his hands. He makes a big burp and notices a trashcan some distance from where he is sitting. He eyeballs itas though hes in a duel against a cowboy, readying to drawhis pistol. He throws the crust and makes it into thegarbage can. He celebrates by leaning back in his chair withhis hands up.

KYLE (CONTD)Olay, olay, olay, olayyyyy!

The telephone rings again. Kyle answers it with an Indiaaccent.

KYLE (CONTD)Hello, youve reached the AlaskanCivil Defense System, how may Ihelp you?

He hears yelling on the other side of the phone. Kyle getshis ear away from the phone and unplugs his ears.

KYLE (CONTD)Its called a joke, god damn it!

Kyle slams the phone back down. He hears more knocking atthe door with a womans voice on the other side. RUTH MCBETH(45) opens the door.

RUTHExcuse me, is this the SpiritAgency?

Kyle looks up at the ceiling, listening, yet not answering.

RUTH (CONTD)Are you Kyle Devilsinger?

Kyle talks as he looks back to Ruth who is near the door.

KYLEYeah, who wants to kn-

He looks at Ruth in silence, trying to figure something out.

KYLE (CONTD)Didnt I have that door closed?

RUTHNo one answered so I just letmyself in.

KYLEAnd you didnt even bother toknock... Anyways, what can I do foryou?

Ruth hears a voice coming from Kyles necklace.

MISTY (V/O)Shes here for our help of course.Why else would someone come to thispart of town?

RUTH

Huh? Who said that?

Ruth walks towards Kyle and looks around but cant see whereits coming from.

MISTY (V/O)Down here. Look! Over here!

Ruth notices the necklace around Kyles neck is moving andtalking.

MISTY (V/O) (CONTD)Hi!

Ruth suddenly falls onto the ground, scared and surprised atwhat she is seeing. She points a finger at MISTY SOULWALKER.

RUTHYour necklace is talking! Why isyour necklace talking?!

Ruth gets up.

RUTH (CONTD)My name is Ruth Mcbeth.

KYLESo, Ruth. What can I do for you?

Kyle leans forward on the table. He takes notice of Misty.

MISTY (V/O)Kyle... I dont feel so good... Ithink Im gonna be sick...

Kyle quickly grabs Misty off from his neck.

KYLEOhhhhh no, no, no, no, no, no! Youare NOT going to throw up on me!

MISTY (V/O)I...cant hold...it...

Kyle starts flinging Misty around.

KYLEHold it in, hold it in, hold it in!You WILL hold it in!

MISTY (V/O)Quit spinning me around so faaast!You are making it worrrse!

Kyle stops spinning Misty.

MISTY (V/O) (CONTD)Oh god...

Misty throws up all over Kyle. Kyle gets the remainingnapkins that he has and cleans himself up.

Kyle gets up and gets another chair for Ruth to sit in.

Kyle puts his feet back up on the desk.

Kyle puts his feet down and quickly leans forward.

Kyle gets up from his desk and walks to a bookshelf filledwith dusty old worn out books.

KYLEAS you may know, most people dontbelieve in hauntings or paranormalactivities. Movies also tend toover exaggerate that when someonebecomes possessed, a priest willcome in with a cross made out ofwood and wave some holy water, saya few lines of prayer and poof -the ghost goes bye bye.

Kyle starts teetering with the books he has on the shelf.

KYLE (CONTD)Well I will say this. The afterlifeexists and there are problems allover the world that occur when theliving and the afterlife collide!Now I will ask you again. Are youprepared for the worst?

EXT. STREET - DAY

Kyle, along with Ruth and Misty are walking down to the homewhere the case of paranormal activity is residing.

RUTH

So, Misty, what exactly are youanyways?

MISTY (V/O)Im a weapon-bound spirit.

RUTHSo youre a ghost possessing anecklace?

MISTY (V/O)Not exactly.

KYLEWeapon-bound spirits tend to becomean object that they can take theform of so they can bond with theirpartner.

RUTHBond? Oh, you mean marriage?

MISTY (V/O)Soooorta. We are in the form of

human-made objects for two reasons.Soul-Bound and of course - spirit

linking.

Ruth looks extremely puzzled, staring at Kyle.

KYLEUhhh, Misty I think shes stillconfused.

MISTY (V/O)Then why dont you explain it toher?! Geez la weez!

KYLEFine! Fine! Soul-Bound is thefusing of a weapon-bound spirit anda human who is they are wed to.Misty and I Soul-Bound in order toget our jobs done. Its because ofSoul-Bound, that I know a lot aboutthis sort of work.

Egyptian. They are all sub classesof a human existence. Just like howthere are different undead,mysticals, demons, etc.

Kyle stops and looks to see where they ended up. He sees ahouse with a brick wall and gate at the front. Kyle looks upat the second floor portions of the house.

Kyle, Misty and Ruth are inside a house with that of aFrench stylized environment; elegant and clean.

KYLESo this is it, huh?

RUTHIt is.

MISTY (V/O)Im liking this place already! Howlong have you been living here?

RUTHOur family has always been livinghere. Unfortunately Im the onlyone living here now.

MISTY (V/O)Huh? Whys that, Ruth?

RUTHOur parents died a while back. Wewere the only people living hereuntil recently.

KYLEUhhh, we?

RUTHMy younger sister, Vanessa wasliving with me up until a year ago.She died while she was away on atrip to Africa.

KYLESo youre the only one living herenow Im assuming?

RUTHI am.

Misty in necklace form starts glowing very brightly.

KYLEHuh?

RUTHOh my - whats that light?

Misty transforms into the form of a human being (18),hovering, laughing and swinging her body around Kyles neck.

Misty stops hugging Kyle and floats down onto her own twofeet.

KYLENow, now - be nice, Misty. Ruthhasnt seen you in your human form.

RUTHOh my god - Misty?! Misty is thatyou?!

MISTYThe one and only! Surprised, huh?

MISTYThe only bad thing about me being

like this is that I cantSoul-Bound with my hubby here. ButI can just transform back whendeemed necessary.

INT. HOUSE - LIVING ROOM - DAY

Ruth and Kyle are sitting down in the living room which hasyet more of a French environment, full of fancy and cleanfurniture.

KYLE

So how long have these problemsbeen occurring to you?

RUTHWell... Id say about four daysnow. They always start at 1:15 inthe morning.

KYLEWhats always been starting?

Misty comes in with a fancy French tea set.

MISTYTeas ready.

RUTHThank you, Misty. You can set itdown over here.

Misty sets the tea set down in the middle of the table. Shealso starts hovering in the air.

KYLEYou were saying? Something aboutthese anomalies happening in the

morning?

Ruth grabs a hold of the tea set and starts pouring tea inthree cups.

RUTH1:15 in the morning, yes. I hearvoices coming from all around me.Things start moving on their ownand I keep hearing stomping sounds.

KYLEDo you know where they are comingfrom?

RUTHYes. But Im too afraid to go andcheck it out.

Misty sits down at the table with Ruth and Kyle.

Misty leans forward too much and accidentally

MISTY

Well theres gotta be somethingthats causing all of these things!

Misty knocks over the table and breaks the tea set, spillingtea all over the rug they stand on.

KYLEAh - Misty...! Youre such a klutzsometimes, you know?

MISTYSorry, sorry, Im so sorry! Illget this cleaned up right away, Ipromise!

KYLENo, well help as well. Werepartners, arent we?

Everyone is picking up the broken pieces from the tea setand trying to rub out the spills that stained the carpet.Misty notices a picture on a table next to where they weresitting. It holds the photo of Vanessa and her favoritedoll.

MISTYHey, Ruth, is this your sister?

RUTHYes it is. She was the first childin the family. Its a shame thatshe had to pass so far away fromhere.

Kyle gets back to cleaning up the mess.

RUTHYeah, she was a collector. That

doll in the photo was her favoritedoll, too.

Everyone hears a big STOMP from upstairs.

KYLENow what?!

RUTHIts the big noise I keep hearing!Its never started this early!

MISTY

Kyle, follow me! Quick!

KYLERight!

Kyle and Ruth follow Misty whos leading them to thelocation of the banging sound.

KYLEWhere are you taking us?

MISTYI sense a spiritual presence comingfrom upstairs.

INT. HOUSE - VANESSAS ROOM - DAY

Everyone runs upstairs and enters a room on the second floorwhere its entirely different from everything else in thehouse. Its full of pink walls and doll houses and flowerswith dolls everywhere on display.

KYLEUh, Misty... I dont think were inKansas anymore...

Kyle walks around the room, looking at the dolls on displayon the shelves.

KYLEThis is where the spirit energy iscoming from?

Ruth and Misty enter the room.

MISTYThis is the place alright. Theenergy is strongest in this roomalone than anywhere else. But itseems that I cant pinpoint theexact origin or the source... Theenergy is spread everywhere like athin piece of paper.

KYLERuth, what room is this?

RUTHThis is my sisters room... Thisroom belonged to Vanessa.

MISTYWow... You werent kidding when yousaid she liked collecting dolls.

Kyle notices the doll that was in the photo encased in glassin the center of other dolls, but it is not against theshelves on the walls.

KYLERuth, why is this one not with theother dolls? Is it special?

RUTHThis was her favorite doll. Thatswhy she had it with her in thephoto I shared with Misty.

Kyle glares at the doll with heavy eyes and doesnt blinkonce. He slowly turns away from it and walks back to thedoor slowly.

KYLEIf I had to guess anything, I bet

its your sister haunting thisplace.

RUTHWHA - How dare you insist onthinking that my innocent sisterwould have anything to do withthis! Its beyond repulsive!

MISTYWhat Kyle says does make sensethough.

RUTH (TO MISTY)Wha - YOU, TOO?! How could you sidewith that statue you take for ahusband?!

KYLEStatue? Heh, thats a new one.

RUTHI dont know where you got the ideathat my sister could do anything ofthe sorts, but it is not funny!

KYLEIm just using the facts, alright?!The corruption is in your sistersroom, shes been dead for a year andtheres no one else who lived inthis house besides your family, itmakes perfect sense to have yoursister be the one causing all thecommotion.

RUTHThen why would my innocent sisterwant to do such things to me?!Why?!

Kyle turns around and looks at Ruth.

INT. HOUSE - LIVING ROOM - NIGHT

Its late at night and everyone is half asleep. Kyle issitting down in a chair, Ruth is laying down on a couch andMisty is back in her necklace form, hung around Kyles neck.Its dead quiet and all the lights are out. There is a bit

of moonlight raying down.

MISTY (V/O)Does anyone have the time...?

Ruth checks the clock that gets illuminated by the moonlightwhile sitting up on the couch.

RUTHIts 1:10 in the morning...

MISTY (V/O)Five more minutes left...

RUTHYeah...

Ruth looks over towards Kyle.

RUTH (CONTD)Kyle... How did you and Misty meet?

KYLEWha - how did we meet? Well it goesalong these lines... It happenedabout a year ago when I was still a

gangster. Roaming the streets,doing whatever the hell I likedoing, whenever I feel like doingit.

EXT./INT. FLASHBACK - DAY

Shots in flashbacks are using different still photos andsome live footage of walking using different angles to tellthe story of the flashback. Kyle walks down the street,wearing ragged gang clothes. He stares into the window of a

jewelry shop, looking at a necklace (Misty). Kyle asks theshop owner how much he wants for the necklace. Kyle walks onhome with the necklace in his hand. When hes at home, Mistyturns into her human form for the first time. Its at thattime when Misty starts explaining everything.

KYLE (V/O)I was a street thug about a yearago. Didnt give a damn aboutanything nor anyone. We were thebiggest bad asses in town. Then oneday, I saw this necklace in thelocal jewelry shop. I could tell it

was new because we use to walk bythat store all the time. So, oneday, I went in and asked the shopowner how much he wanted for thenecklace. It was a must have on mylist of things that I wanted. I wasgenerous enough to pay the fullprice for it. I felt like a totallynew bad ass all over again. I feltunstoppable! Then when I got homelater that day, I tried on thenecklace and poof! Out came Misty.Sure I was scared as hell at first,

but then she showed me what mydestiny was. She showed me thetruth of our world. And I mustadmit - our world is nothing like Iimagined it to be.

INT. HOUSE - LIVING ROOM - NIGHT

Everyone is still in the living room. Ruth just heard thelast of Kyles story.

RUTH

And thats how you managed tobecome an expert on spirits and allthat stuff, right?

KYLEYeah... Pretty much.

RUTHSo why do you have to marry a guylike this, Misty? I mean, hes notthe most attractable person outthere, you know.

KYLEI heard that!

MISTY (V/O)Tradition.

KYLEOr so she claims. Says that theweapon-bound spirits become mostfond of the first spiritualpresence that they encounter.

MISTY (V/O)

We can only be useful throughSoul-Bound and in order to do that,I need to synchronize my spiritualwavelength with that of my partnerand is first done through marriage.

KYLESoul-Bound allows me to use Mistyas a weapon of sorts. Spiritualwavelengths travel throughout thebody and are intertwined with everypart of the body. The electricalsignals from my brain are tellingmy spiritual wavelengths what Imthinking via a code thatweapon-bound spirits can read.With both of our wavelengthstogether, they can "talk" to her.

KYLEThe only downside is that aweapon-bound spirit can only holdup to so much thought processes. Inthis case she can only turn intothree different things to help me.

RUTHWhat decides how much Misty canhold onto at once?

MISTY (V/O)

I would have to become a strongerspirit if I were to hold moreinformation. Im still a novice atbest.

Ruth smiles and they start hearing different sounds echoingthroughout the house.

SPIRIT VOICE (V/O)Hate! Scorn! Agony! Suffering!Detest! Sorrow! Pain! Torture!Kill!

Everyone quickly gets up. Ruth checks the clock.

RUTHIts 1:15, guys.

MISTY (V/O)I sense a strong spiritual presencelingering around us.

KYLERuth, stay hidden and dont comeout no matter what!

Ruth goes into hiding behind the couch. Kyle hears a voicefrom the darkest part of the room.

SPIRIT VOICE (V/O)Hiding wont help you.

The doll that was encased in glass hovers out from theshadows in front of Kyle. Ruth takes a peak.

RUTHNo. It cant be.

KYLESo youve finally come out ofhiding. I already like you; wanting

to get right to the point!

The ghost doll swoops down trying to take out Kyle with the"Super Man" pose. Kyle takes a step to the side, notbreaking a sweat, to dodge the doll.

KYLE (CONTD)My grandma can fly faster than youcan. And I dont even have agrandma.

SPIRIT VOICEWhat did you just imply?!

KYLEYou heard me! Now come on down so Ican kill you!

SPIRIT VOICEYeah - like Ill listen to thedemands of such an ignorant brat!

KYLEOkay, okay, fine. Will you "please"come down so I can kill you?

The ghost doll hovers quickly back at Kyle.

SPIRIT VOICE (V/O)You will not mock me again!

KYLE (TO MISTY)You ready?

MISTY (V/O)Lets do it.

KYLE/MISTY (V/O)Soul-Bound! Holy Sanctity Mode!

Kyle and Misty start merging together. Kyles wardrobechanges to that of a demonic priest, covered in red andblack with an alternative symbol for a cross. He holds abible in his hands with a cross on the outside like ahanging down book marker, attached to a chain. The ghostdoll continue to fly swiftly at Kyle.

KYLESpiritual Rebound!

The ghost flies into the bible that Kyle is holding up. Theghost gets hit with some form of electricity flowing outfrom its cover. The ghost flies in a different direction.

KYLE (CONTD)Now lets see whos the master mindbehind this puppet!

Kyle reaches out for the cross bookmark hanging from thebible and starts yanking it out with a a chain attached. Heswings it in motion and flings it at the ghost doll,capturing it in the chains.

KYLE (CONTD)Cross and Chain!

GHOST DOLLWhat?!

KYLEPacify!

The chain starts emitting electrical currents through thechain, starting from the bible and going up to the ghost,electrocuting it.

INT. HOUSE - FRONT ROOM - NIGHT

The ghost doll falls on the floor and the ghost of VANESSAspews out, floating by the front door of the house, emittinga ghoulish form of a french maiden. The chain from the biblewinds back up.

VANESSAHow dare you!

Kyle stares up at the ghost without blinking and slowlysmiles.

KYLE (TO RUTH)See! I told you it was your sister!

Ruth comes out of hiding, shocked by what she is looking at.

RUTH

Sister... It cant be...

VANESSAI see you are no ordinary humanbeing.

KYLEGeeee what made you think that?

Ruth walks to the room of the encounter, still lookingshocked. She looks up at the ghost.

RUTH

Sister? Vanessa is that you?

VANESSAYes Ruth. Its me, your sister,Vanessa.

Ruth becomes angry, attempting to hold back her tears.

RUTHWhy are you doing this to me? Whyare you haunting our only home? Whyare you doing the things your doingnow?!

VANESSAI was lonely.

RUTHYou were...lonely?

VANESSAYes, Ruth. Lonely. Death is eternalloneliness. I didnt want to die.Why did you let me die, sister?

RUTHWhat do you mean why? You wanted to

go see the world! You wanted toknow what was out there. You lovedto travel; how would I have knownyou were going to die?!

Jakurda gets electrocuted by the Pacify ability cast on himby Kyle. Ruth falls back onto the ground. The spirit ofVanessa collapses to the ground while a red orb is cast outof the spirit and continues to hover in the air. The orbvanishes, showing the a red demonic looking worm.

JAKURDAI dont believe this... You cast meout from my vessel! I shall destroyyou!

Jakurda wraps Kyle in a bunch of oozy tentacles. Kyle feelshis life force draining from him.

KYLEDamn! I - Im stuck! I... Feelweak... Weak...

Kyle turns back into his normal form with Misty back as anecklace thats hung around Kyle. Jakurda chuckles.

He is covered in red and black devilish ragged suit with acape that is in red and black shreds.

KYLELIGHT BULLET SPEED!

A light blue light came out from the gunblade like a bullet.

It pierces through Jakurda, destroying him completely. Kyleslowly brings the gunblade back down.

Kyle transforms back into his original clothes, along withMisty being a necklace once again. Ruth crawls over toVanessa. Vanessa slowly gains conscious.

RUTH (OS)Vanessa! Are you alright, Vanessa?!

VANESSASorry I made you worry, Ruth. Itwont happen again... I promise.

Vanessa closes her eyes and she vanishes like a cloud ofdust blown into the air.
