trained and focused orthopedic surgeons, 22 mid-level providers and a physiatrist committed to helping people lead active lives, treating sports and work-related injuries, detecting osteoporosis, replacing joints, and relieving chronic and acute pain. Our dedicated healthcare team provides customized care to patients at our seven conveniently located offi ces in and around the Syracuse area. Offi ce locations include Camillus, Cicero, Liverpool and Fayetteville along with our own Specialists One-Day Surgery Center. Our Surgeons service three private hospitals in Syracuse: St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center, Crouse Hospital and Community General Hospital and treat patients from Onondaga, Cayuga, Oswego, Madison, Oneida, Cortland and Jefferson Counties.
The Surgeons at SOS have specialized training and experience that have allowed the group to have surgeons skilled in treating particular parts of the musculoskeletal system. Among these areas of expertise are: Hand and Elbow surgery, Shoulder surgery, Spinal care and surgery, Sports Medicine, Total Joint replacement and Surgery (Hip and Knee) and Foot and Ankle Care and Surgery, which is provided by the only Fellowship Trained Foot and Ankle surgeon in private practice in Upstate New York.
The group has invested in state of the art diagnostic tools, including open and closed MRI scanners, Digital X-Ray, Nuclear Medicine, Nerve Conduction Studies and Electromyography (EMG) to ensure the proper, effi cient diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries. The “multi-specialty” make up of the group allows the practice to ensure that the patient is treated by a surgeon with the particular skills necessary to insure the highest quality outcome.
