    - Energy propagated in space

    - Propagation takes place in the form of waves

    - Similar effectiveness

-The decision is based on: - Working speed (surface, shooting speed)

    - Type of patient being treated (phototype) - Types of treatments to be performed - Budget - Versatility

For these reasons, the market is directing massively towards pulsed

    light.

Thermal Relaxation Time (T.R.T.) OFF Time required for the temperature reached in the tissue to drop to 50%. It is proportional to the diameter of the structure: T.R.T. Hair follicle: 20-60 ms T.R.T. Epidermis: 8-10 ms

The duration of the pulse shall generally be lower than the thermal relaxation time of the structure on which you want to work.

    PHOTOEPILATION

  • S O R IS AB E A U T Y S O L U T IO N S

PHOTOEPILATION Any hair removal technique that uses

    EMR to remove hair

  • S O R IS AB E A U T Y S O L U T IO N S

The epilatory ability of light was a discovery by chance when removing tattoos with lasers. The introduction of intense pulsed light technology (IPL) offers an alternative non-invasive, quick and easy treatment.

    PHOTOEPILATION

  • S O R IS AB E A U T Y S O L U T IO N S

    SELECTIVE PHOTOTHERMOLYSIS

    MECHANISM OF ACTION

    Protuberance

    Papilla

    Diffussion

Photoepilation is based on the selective photothermolysis which aims to eliminate the hair follicle without affecting the neighbouring structures La

  • S O R IS AB E A U T Y S O L U T IO N S

The objective is to destroy hair-forming. In the anagen phase, the base of the hair is highly pigmented and the light will have the greatest effect during this phase. The purpose of producing this heat is to damage the tissue or target structure and as a consequence the denaturation or destruction of the tissue. Therefore, to remove the hair it is necessary to reach temperatures of around 80ºC in the hair bulb. From 70º there is already a proteic coagulation.

    MECHANISM OF ACTION

  • S O R IS AB E A U T Y S O L U T IO N S

    FACTORS DETERMINING PHOTODEPILATION

    - Phase of hair growth cycle

    - Depth of the follicles

    - Hair colour

    - Hair thickness

    - Skin colour

  • S O R IS AB E A U T Y S O L U T IO N S

    - White Hair - Photosensitivity, porphyria, or xeroderma pigmentosum (cutaneous tumour) - Photosensitizing medication - Pregnancy - Epilepsy - Cancerous tissue or suspected malignancy - History of scarring and keloid formation - Treatment with anticoagulants - Avoid the sun or UV 2 weeks before and after treatment

    ABSOLUTE CONTRAINDICATIONS

  • S O R IS AB E A U T Y S O L U T IO N S

    - Tanned skin

    - Tattoos

    - Sun spots, freckles or age spots

    - Micropigmentation - The areas around the eyes - Skin phototype VI - Wounded or infected skin

    ABSOLUTE CONTRAINDICATIONS IN THE AREA

    - Herpes

    - Diabetes mellitus

    RELATIVE

  • S O R IS AB E A U T Y S O L U T IO N S

    - Phototype IV and above - Marks from previous burns (over 6 months) - History or presence of melasma - History or presence of age spots - Persistent tanning after two months without exposure

The existence of any one of these situations determines the

    patient’s pigmentation risk.

    RISK OF PIGMENTATION

  • S O R IS AB E A U T Y S O L U T IO N S

More frequent: - Erythema - Oedema (perifollicular) Less frequent: - Blisters or burns - Hypo or hyperpigmentation, with late-onset effects

    SIDE EFFECTS

  • S O R IS AB E A U T Y S O L U T IO N S

    - Every 6 weeks (3-4 weeks In Face) - Number of sessions required: 6-10. - As treatment progresses, the intersessional period increases - Maintenance: a session may be repeated when a hair regrowth in the area

    FREQUENCY OF THE SESSIONS

  • S O R IS AB E A U T Y S O L U T IO N S

    - When a new cartridge is replaced we have to pay

attention, as the departure energy may be slightly higher.

In this case we can decrease a July / cm2 from the last

parameter of energy applied to the client, and adjust based

    on the feeling.

    NEW CARTRIDGES

  • S O R IS AB E A U T Y S O L U T IO N S

    - If we change from an L or LL to an XL, we must decrease the

energy parameter, as the XL head has a higher spot (with a better

use of photons) is proportional to the dispersion that occurs at the

level of the periphery the spot.

-The relation surface - perimeter changes and this changes the

energy use, which requires lower initial energy work.

PLUG & PULSE TECHNOLOGY This innovative technology means our customers will be able to replace lamps without the need for technical assistance, thus avoiding:

    - Having the machine out of action during the process of changing the lamp. - Extra technical assistance expenses.

This technology allows you to switch treatments with a single click. Simple change the cartridge intended for each treatment. Change of Water
