SonoTube 008/D13 Communications Transducer
Horizontal Beam Pattern @ 10 kHz
Vertical Beam Pattern @ 10 kHz
Chelsea’s SonoTube 008/D13 is a low frequency, high power transmitter and receiver transducer. The transducer is active over 7-16 kHz and is operational to full ocean depths due to its oil filled, rubber encapsulated design.
The SonoTube is a functional system for underwater communications, positioning and navigation. Its compact, robust and portable design makes it ideal for deployment on research vessels and in outdoor locations.
A protective cage is also available, to provide excellent durability against knocks.
