Max. Input Voltage and Dynamic Measuring Range

The Sonic active probe is protected against electro-static-discharge voltage (ESD). However, applying input-voltages outside the specified limits can result in destruction of the probe´s amplifier.

The maximum amplitude of the applied signal may not exceed the limits of the graph below, to avoid input linearity errors and damage to the probe.

Power Supply

PMK‘s PS-02 and PS-03 Power Supplies use a Lemosa connector Type 304 for Power- as well as Dataline connection. With the free software „PMK Remote Control“ you can readout and adjust PMKs Active Probes remotely via these Power Supplies like a Hub. Please find the Pin Assignment below:

The maximum amplitude of the applied signal may not exceed the limits of the graph below, to avoid damage to the probe.

Please note, that any noise of the supply voltage influences the noise of the signal in general. We therefore recommend using a PMK PS-02 or PS-03 Power Supply.
