Grape Varities Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc

Vinification Each variety is produced on its own. The fermentation lasts for fifteen days and at temperatures between 14º-16ºC.

Tasting Notes Appearance: Clear and bright, with some greenish gold any shiny hints.On the nose: The tropical character appears with mango and pineapple aromas.On the palate: Very fresh acidity, with tropical fruit flavor and a long and delicate floral finish’s. This wine is ideal to match with fish, shellfish dishes, rice, pasta, curries and creamy cheeses.

Maturation This is exclusively in the family vineyards, in the heart of dry soils of Salas Altas and Salas Bajas, that the best parcels of each grape varieties are selected and that the grape is harvested at perfect ripeness on the lower vines. Family Reserve is elaborated by separation of every grape varieties during the fermentation which needs 20 days at a temperature fluctuating between 25 and 26 degrees in order to extract the deepest colour, in preserving as much as possible the ripe fruit. After a 18-month ageing in first use French oak barrels coming from different woods and different way of making, we proceed with the final blend with the aim of obtaining then, thanks to a 18-month maturation in bottles, the perfect harmony between aromas and flavours, typical of the grape and on the wine making in barrels.

Tasting Note Colours: Family reserve catches the attention by its very dense red-cherry robe, which can be explained by the slow maturation. On the palate: It reveals intense notes of ripe red fruits and combine a subtle woody scent, coming from the oak barrels wine making, with the feeling of youth.On the nose: Surprisingly chilled, very intense and tasty, with a solid and lengthy finish, and a soft and delightful tannin note.Ideal with: Cheese, game and red meat.

Maturation Elaborated from grapes picked at night from the younger vines and only when they are totally matured, situated in the areas of Salas Altas and Barbastro, fermented during 14 days at temperature control vats between 20º and 22ºC, to preserve all the fruit, gravity decanted into lower vats with no skins and after a short maturation of six months in French and American oak barrels, and further six months in bottle, the wine is commercialized, with all the roundness and complexity that the barrel bottle aging offers.

Tasting Note Colour: clean bright and intense ruby red with some blue hints. On the nose: red mature fruits, well integrated oakness with some hints of smoke characters.On the palate: fresh, fruity and intense characters, with plenty of life and smoothes finish that lingers on. Ideal with: red meat, baked fish, and with any type of starters or tapas.

Type of grape Cabernet Sauvignon and Garnacha.

Vinification From our best Garnacha grape, we free runa 15% of the juice, adding a 40% percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon to the blend before fermenting to add a little more body and structure, fermentation is stopped after around fifteen days at 19ºC.

Tasting Note Appearance: Bright and clean intense rose colour, it has some blue or purple hints, typical from the Garnacha blends.On the nose: Its elegant very clean fruit strawberry character, with some aromatic hints of cedar. On the palate: Very pleasant at the beginning in the mouth, long and persistent mature red fruit character.Ideal with: starters, rice, pasta white meat and fish.
