Pebbled Liner
3M EH-Series Tapes combines the air-release of 3M E-Series Tapes withhigher plate side adhesion to resist edgelifting on cylinder diameters as small as 2".
EH-Series Adhesive to hold theedge on small diameter cylinders
On easy with reduced air entrapment
Unlike flat or pebbled liners, E-Series linersare crosshatched on both sides. This imprintsunique microchannels into the adhesive thatallow air to flow throughout the adhesive.Bubbles release from between the tape andplate, and between the tape and cylinder orsleeve for virtually air-free mounting. Setupis shorter with smoother surfaces for cleanerprint quality and higher productivity.
Stays on with reduced edge-lifting
Exclusive 3M plate-side adhesive maintainstight contact. Saves the prep time, downtime, and labor of sealing plate edges.
Peels off easily to reduce plate damage
Peels off so easily you can virtually eliminate plate back treatment. You’re lesslikely to damage plates, so you can save time, labor, and money.

3M™ Non-Repulpable Splicing Tapes
Match tape handling and performance to the demands of the job
3M™ Adhesive Transfer TapesFor an overlap splice, simply press theadhesive side of the tape to one of thesurfaces to be spliced. Peel off the linerand you have a neat strip of adhesive forimmediate bonding. Select from a range of adhesive properties.
3M™ Double Coated Tapes Adhesive is on both sides of a carrier thatincreases dimensional stability of theadhesive for easy handling and applicationin making overlap splices.
3M™ Polyester TapesThese high strength single-coated tapesprovide thin caliper with some of the highest tensile strengths available foroverlap and butt splices.
3M™ Flatback Crepe TapesWith high strength paper backings, thesesingle-coated tapes provide high machinedirection tensile strength yet can be conveniently torn off the roll by hand for application ease.
For marking splice location, 3M™ Polyester Tape 850 is available in red, black, white, silver, and gold.Transparent is also available to blend with the web stock. Pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive grabs oncontact and holds butt splices securely. High tensile strength backing resists web handling stresses.
High tack 3M™ Adhesive Transfer Tape 465 grabsfast for flying and zero speed splices, resists up to250°F for 20 seconds.
Versatile 3M™ Performance Flatback Tape 2525provides high visibility for holding many materials, edge banding, and splicing.
3M™ Polyester Tape 8401 butt splices siliconerelease coated paper, resisting breakage whilemeeting thin caliper requirements.
For splicing paper or fabric, 3M™ Flatback Tapes provide high machine direction tensile strength andeasy cross tear. Rubber adhesive holds securely on materials ranging from kraft paper to nonwoven fabric.
With high tack and good shear strength, 3M™
Double Coated Tape 9420 splices plastic filmquickly and securely. Red carrier identifies thesplice for later removal.

Slick surface roller wrap tapesfor smoother web movement
To add a slick, anti-stick surface on webrollers for improved web movement, applyeither a 3M™ PTFE Tape or UHMW-PETape to the rollers.
PTFE Tapes perform at up to 400°F (204°C)and resist chemicals. For temperatures upto 225°F (107°C) and abrasion resistance, consider UHMW-PE (Ultra High MolecularWeight Polyethylene).
Traction wrap to enhance friction for web handling
3M™ Traction Tape 5401 bonds on contact to rollers providing non-stick traction for enhanced friction that improvesweb handling.
Silicone-coated fiberglass-reinforced backingprovides a durable, conformable strip thatruns long and lays flat. Silicone adhesivebonds reliably to clean, dry roller surfacesand removes cleanly when time forreplacement.
3M™ PTFE and UHMW-PE Tapes conform to rollers to provide low coefficients of friction forsmoother, more reliable web movement. As a cover on web former edges, the tapes minimizes frictionduring folding.
