Procedure to Upgrade using the Local Repository

Firs Mount the ISO Image of Solaris 11 Base Repository Image & ump it

inside the repository !le system "solaris#repo $%his is here e are going

to place all the images to update the OS'

Once the dumping of First , is complete unmounts & then mount thesecond image & repeat the same

.fter dumping the Second , image mount the Solaris 11 SRU 1*+/

image & dump the image into same location

0hec the 2oot)management 3ersion if its a2o3e 14/+*+*+*+- then

dongrade it

( pg info 2oot)management( pg update )n3 2oot)management5*+/+116/+11)*+14/+*+*+*+-+178-( pg update 2oot)management5*+/+116/+11)*+14/+*+*+*+-+178-

.fter updating the 2oot management do a dry run for Solaris 11 SRU 1*+/

( pg update 9n3( pg update 9n3( pg update )n3 entire5*+/+11)*+14/+*+1*+*+/+*( pg update entire5*+/+11)*+14/+*+1*+*+/+*( re2oot

.fter upgrading it Re2oot the ser3er & dump the Solaris 11+- Repo into

the same directory

Update the pacage"pg & then do a dry run to upgrade It to Solaris 11+-
