Process, which breaks down many chemical compounds into carbon dioxide and water, eliminating them from the environment.

THE FINE PRINT

The SolarBag offers the broadest contaminant removal of any portable water purifier. It does not, however, desalinate water (turn salt water into fresh water). Extremely cloudy or turbid water (darker than tea color) inhibits sunlight, slowing the purification process. Fine, suspended inorganic particles (clay, sand, silica) are primarily unaffected by the technology. Lipids (fats, oils) float on the water and do not come into contact with the nanotechnology mesh.

The nanotechnology is a non-toxic, FDA-approved, food-safe material. Accidental ingestion of the mesh has no adverse health effects.
