INTRODUCTION “Science is the study of world as it is,
Engineering is the creation of the world tomorrow.”
Using renewable, non-conventional sources of energy(solar).
This project emphasize on the spraying of pesticide using solar
power as energy. It can be used at various location.
In this project we have to used the technique of operating the motor
used for spraying using solar panels.
In this model an extra assembly of home light is made so that battery
can be used for CFL in night when solar panel is not attached.
LITERATURE REVIEWThis technology is date from the time of the GREEK, native Americas &
Chinese, who warmed their buildings orienting them toward the sun.
Solar power is more specifically to refer to the conversion of sunlight in to
electricity.
Solar photovoltaic provided 0.04% of the world’s energy usage in 2004.
Earth receives 174 petawatts of incoming solar radiation (insulation) at the
upper atmosphere at any given time, where 6% of insulation is reflected
and 16% is absorbed.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATONSr. no Parts Specification
1 Tank 16 lit. capacity
2 Solar panel 12v 5watt(output 20v)
3 Motor 12v DC
4 Battery 12v 7Ah
5 CFL 9watt
6 Spray gun 1.5”
SELECTION CRITERIAThe following criteria are suggested for the present design:-
Safety.
Low cost is desirable.
Small size of frame of solar panel.
High reliability.
Low maintenance.
Smooth operation, low noise & low vibration.
MAKING PROCESSBattery is attached to the flat plane of the tank.
Motor is clamped at the bottom of the tank.
Solar panel is attached to battery assembly.
Connection to motor and solar panel is made.
Other accessories are attached for spraying operation for sake of
convenience.

What is PhotovoltaicA method of generating electrical power by converting solar radiation into
direct current electricity through some materials (such as semiconductors)
that exhibit the photovoltaic effect.
DIAGRAM:-Solar panel collect solar energy into electricity
& supplies into battery.
Battery charged & next to used to operate
motor & lighting system.
Motor sucks liquid from tank & deliver it
through delivery pipe.
The motor is controlled with handle attached to
spray gun.
A nozzle is attached at the opening of spray
gun
The CFL is also attached with the battery.
ADVANTAGES Low production cost.
Easily operatable.
Maintenance cost is low.
Can be used as light in night.
Parts easily available.
Can be used except spraying season.
Unlimited Source of Energy
No pollution
PHOTOGRAPHY
LIMITATIONsSolar energy requires steady sunlight.
Solar Energy Is Unreliable.
Difficult to work in rainy season due to poor sunlight.
APPLICATIONSMainly used in agriculture for spraying pesticide.
Used in garden spraying purpose.
CFL can be used as light in night in anywhere.
It is used washing the parts
It’s battery can be used in other application
CONCLUSIONTo make sure we have large amount of energy in the future, it's up to
all of us to use energy wisely.
We must all conserve energy and use it efficiently. It's also up to
those who will create the new energy technologies of the future.
We saw the spray pump in a village .One person sprayed in garden
by using hand operated pump. So my group are decided this project
which is operated by solar energy. For this project we also refer
thermal engineering books and many others reference books of solar
energy.
