Geotech Solar Sipper Advantages
• Green Technology: Electrical power used to run the Solar Sipper is generated on-site by solar panels, sparing approximately 0.15 pounds of CO2 per hour of continuous operation from the
atmosphere, based on the national average coal fired power plant efficiencies. In addition, O&M activities are reduced, due to the systems simplicity, resulting in less site visits, thereby reducing the amount of CO2 entering the atmosphere from maintenance staff
vehicles.

• Recovers virtually water–free hydrocarbons through the use of an oleophilic/hydrophobic floating intake cartridge skimmer assembly
• No expensive compressed air bottles required, unit provides it’s own air to operate the built-in compressor/vacuum pump
• Can recover higher viscosity hydrocarbon when configured with a heavy oil intake cartridge
• Can recover DNAPL with fixed intake assembly • Available for 2'' and 4'' wells
