Abstract

This project aims to solve some problems in the irrigation (etc. micro-irrigation and trickle irrigation) of orchards and tea gardens. It is achieved by combining the technologies like solar energy and water-saving irrigation. We use solar panel to convert sunlight into electrical energy which is used to pump water to the top of mountain where water is stored in an impounding reservoir. Orchards and tea gardens can be irrigated via gravity irrigation system. A solar panel support, a movable truck and a Maximum Power Point Tracking Support are designed by CAITA. Moreover, an ultrasonic shift is developed to control bump when the water level falls in order to avoid the pump running idly.
